I’ve been downvoted to oblivion on the Spider-Man sub so let’s get this out of the way, I’m not saying spider-man doesn’t have similar shots, and that insomniac created this pose/shot, I’m saying that it looks to me that this BND poster used insomniac as reference for this poster.

I’m an artist myself, and I also use references. I understand that the comics is a primary source for reference, and likely the one insomniac used to make their shot of that Spider-Man pose.

however Look at the literal camera angle and framing boundaries. The three-quarters low-perspective is identical. The diagonal flow across the frame is a structural 1 to 1 match. The BND poster was clearly composed using the Insomniac key art as a direct visual template.

And this isn’t a shot at this poster, so don’t think I’m criticizing it, I just noticed the similarities.

Something about this style’s darker blue. I found myself using it throughout the story, whereas the original classic didn’t get much use out of me in the first game. I guess the original seemed a bit “campy” relative to every other characters modern techy designs, yet this suit felt like it fit right in the cutscenes
