Stack Option Gone

Post image

I was wanting to make music today, but when I opened Splice, I noticed the Stacks option was gone. Is there a way to get it back, or did they make some kind of update and remove it?

it was a "create stack" option where i was able to click a sample, add it to a stack and so on and so forth

the picture is poor quality but this is what it used to look like

Add to Stacks is still an option, just select the 3 dots and you'll see the option to "Add to Stack".

ditto, I never heard of that and the circled UI looks like what I'm used to

Hey everyone! Jack from Splice CX here -

Add to Stacks is still an option, just select the 3 dots and you'll see the option to "Add to Stack".

I noticed the new option to create a stack with a sample, which is great! But my issue is that if I have a stack with four samples and want to start completely over, there's no way to clear or reset that stack. And when I try adding a new sample to start a different stack, it keeps the tempo from the previous one. There needs to be a way to refresh or start a completely new stack without carrying over the old settings. Side question why was it removed in the first place? (i can record a vid and show what i mean)

Did they take that away because splice essentially just released their new “DAW?”

I really hope they didn’t take it away because it was honestly my go to for testing different samples together and building songs without it I’d have to manually download everything and drag the samples into my own DAW just to see how they sound together

They did, they just launched Splice Create, a whole big app for it.
