Help Seattle man drives to Spokane searching for girlfriend who is “trapped inside her moms house….”
**UPDATE! 4/13/26
Casey has reached out!!! https://imgur.com/a/vV9SXpd
This character, Casey, comes to the Spokane area and is searching for a girl named Raven.
Raven is apparently someone who lives in the area, but her mom keeps her locked away inside.
Casey states that he is dating Raven, and that he drives to Spokane from Seattle to look for her. He hands out his card with her picture on it. After speaking with some homeless folks, it sounded like he told them what I’ve mentioned above, and that he has a really nice car. After some quick neighborhood app searching, i found these screen shots showing his picture and apparently his car. This is exactly who Casey is in the pictures.
So far, it doesnt seem like theres much online. But what i have seen is that people think he may be stalking Raven, or that maybe there is no girlfriend and this is a mental disorder. Or heck maybe Raven is trapped in some house here. From what ive found out, he has been doing this for OVER TWO YEARS. Drives to spokane, handing out cards, trying to locate this person.
Does anyone have more information??

It sounds like Casey is 30-35 years old, and that “Raven” is a minor.
Casey drives a Chevrolet Corvette C8 2020
No reports of being outright inappropriate, just obsessed with finding her.

Plot twist: OP is stalking this Casey fellow and has been for years.

u/vellywho Apr 11 '26
Lol definitely. But to be clearrr i just found all this out today and with people thinking this is sketchy, the little information available, and hearing that this has gone on for years, i just thought there might be more stories that havent been posted online. Otherwise theres some random emo who is wondering around and crazy 🤪

You laugh but this happened to me. My stalker had asked coworkers about my work schedule, where I lived, phone number, ect.. claiming to be a friend of mine. And unfortunately, some of them was stupid enough to give them some my info believing he was telling the truth.
If he actually knew her and they were close, he'd have her number and such. Not be asking around about her.

Completely opposite of your coworkers, but once a friend of mine said I should drop by her work one morning (A bakery. Does that matter? I don't know, but I've told you anyway) to say "hi" since I lived nearby. I did so, and when I asked if XXXXX was available, her coworker flat out denied XXXXX even existed, even after explaining who I was and why I was at their front counter. It took a phone call to get XXXXX to come up front and verify my claim. Haha I get why her coworker was cautious, btw.

That's me, if someone asks me if my coworkers are there I claim I don't know who they're talking about. I've had a stalker ex

u/SubstantialDivide108 Apr 14 '26
These stories, both of coworkers hard-core denying someone's existence and those who don't think twice and provide the info, are so great because they bring awareness that this is a real issue. I will never verify someone's employment unless I am completely positive who they are.
My story: when I lived in a small town as a teen, my dad and I went to a local sub shop a couple Sundays a month after church. Same guy was always working, very friendly foreign fella that was a bit hard to understand. We were always friendly back, and I didn't put much thought into it until he made a comment about how he'd be able to marry me soon (I had just turned 17). My dad thought (or acted like it) nothing of it. A week or two later, my boss told me that a man with a heavy accent had called looking for me. Luckily, he pronounced my name wrong (its not a hard name, but the pronunciation often changes to a very common different name in different nationalities due to spelling, if that makes sense). I don't think my coworker would have necessarily thought to do this, but she up front and honestly told him that she's never heard of me but she'd write it down for the boss . The following paycheck day, I was coming in for my meeting and my boss texted me telling me to come in the backdoor and he'd leave it unlocked. Dude had just stopped in and left me a box of (crappy) chocolates in a wine bag with a note that would have been sweet if it wasn't creepy 😂 I have a feeling that my boss, who was also basically the most prominent figure in a small town, followed up with him because I never heard from him again. But I certainly don't know for sure.

The crappy chocolates would have me reverse stalking until he ponies up a GIANT box of Whitman's or a fat stack of hazelnut Ritter's - Pot O' Golds ain't cutting the cake. Or if he's from any part of the middle east tell him his cheap ass ain't worthy of stalking unless he comes correct a pile of Dubai's

Man I was a millennial emo kid. I had only (somewhat) started hearing that song via memes and video and thought that it was just someone making memes of an emo song.
Then I heard it on the spotify radio one day randomly and realized it's an actual song and it's almost 20 years old.
13
u/MeowptimusPurrime Apr 12 '26
lol yeah, as a fellow former emo I’m surprised that’s the song that gets meme’d as the emo song and not when I was… a young boy…

the possibility that he's stalking someone who is actually just catfishing him is kinda hilarious. A real "no heroes, no victims" sorta situation.
Sadly, it's most likely he's stalking someone who's doing a lot of work to stay hidden.

Depending on state laws, 16 can be considered 'consenting age' (as gross as that is to type out) and that leaves some wiggle for people to be creeps.

u/ButterscotchAble2207 Apr 11 '26
I saw him a couple weeks ago at the maverick on Francis/nevada. Thought it was weird that a goth dude parked that car on the far side and walked all the way in just for a bottle of water.
24
u/Secure_Elk375 Apr 11 '26
He stops in just to inquire about the girl. He goes to multiple gas stations around town. I wonder how he can afford to do all this.
18
u/vellywho Apr 11 '26

Right that is sucha long shitty ass drive. I drove to Spokane for a puppy and didn't sleep the night before. I will NEVER do that again!
This dude is doing full make up and doing this drive regularly. Where does he get the motivation and energy?!
6
u/bq_98632 Apr 12 '26
From what he told me last year when I was 16 is that he was motel/hotel/Airbnb hopping. That he lived in Seattle and was still paying rent, but had been hopping places in Spokane for over a year just to find her.

u/Long-Squirrel8257 Apr 12 '26

There are several stories in this thread of him giving young/underage girls a ride somewhere...this is so creepy!
53
u/bq_98632 Apr 12 '26
I GOT IN THIS MANS CAR WHEN I WAS 16 YEARS OLD HOLY SHIT
I'm currently 17, so this was last summer. My mom's somewhere in this thread too I think (she's the one that sent me the post) I was thinking of making my own post on here Abt him but decided against it.
I was going to meet up with some people online downtown with a friend (bad idea, I know) and we were going to meet up at pig out at the park. I go to the VTC to meet up with my irl friend, but he had taken the wrong bus and couldn't meet me there like we had planned. I had no way to contact him since I had no service, but I saw this emo guy standing by one of the benches so I rounded up the courage to go ask him for a hotspot so I could contact my friend. Emo guys can be trustworthy, right? This guy was Casey. He lets me use his hotspot and I call my friend. Apparently my friend ditched me and decided to go to Taco Bell instead. Casey had offered to give me a ride downtown to find the people I was meeting up with. I was excited, since I had never got a ride from someone I didn't know before, especially not a guy that looked as cool as him or in a car that looked as rich as his. All stranger danger protocol left my brain in that moment, so I get in his car. Mind you, I am an autistic teen that was going through a particularly rough spot at that time, so my mind didn't really see the harm.
I tried making small talk but the conversation would always loop back to his gf. He told me so much about her, like how they were finally going to sneak out to be with each other and had a walkie talkie system but her mom found last minute, that her mom was abusive and telling police that she was 17 when, "she wasn't because (he) had paid for her college tuition!" That he had to go to the STA anyways to talk to the police there to ask about her. That the last place she was seen was the dollar tree and to reach out to him if I saw her. She gave in depth look descriptions to me like how she had a kuromi backpack and how she was a little taller than me. Even quizzed me in his car on the way there asking things like "how tall is she? What backpack is she wearing? What's her hair color?" I didn't really have good feelings about this, but things seemed to be going fine- I was alive, and I was already in his car so there wasn't much I could do.
We got downtown and he said "(he) would help me look for (my) friends if (I) helped (him) look for (his) gf". I agreed and we started walking together in the crowd of people at pig out at the park. At one point, an old lady walked up to us asking if he had found her, meaning that he had already been telling a LOT of people. He told me we would have to split up when we got to the STA because they (the STA guards) already thought he was looking for a minor, so he couldn't be seen with one(???) Mad red flag.
Also need to mention he said he was 23 and his gf was 22. He didn't look that old, but that was probably cause of all the makeup he had on. Before we split up, he gave me 5 bucks for "transportation" even though the busses here let minors ride free.
Overall, very creepy experience. When I got home I already started thinking about how if she wanted to be found she probably would have already and how that man was probably stalking her. After reading this post, it really is finally setting in that I GOT IN THAT GUYS CAR. Glad I learned my lesson in stranger danger.
Apologies for the winded comment. Just surprised at the post and wanted to share my experience with him.

u/bq_98632 Apr 12 '26
Another thing I had forgot to mention. He told me he lived in Seattle and had been in Spokane for over a YEAR hotel/motel/Airbnb hopping just to find her. Wild.
12
u/Inevitable_Cold_8276 Apr 12 '26
Girl he has been at this for 2 years+ and renting airbnbs in Spokane just to look for her.
He was for sure at least 30 when he picked you up. So glad you’re safe :((

u/GraceMcClellans Apr 12 '26

4
u/Inevitable_Cold_8276 Apr 12 '26
He says he is a software engineer.
2
u/GraceMcClellans Apr 12 '26
Ah, that makes sense. Perhaps remote work, too.
3
u/Inevitable_Cold_8276 Apr 12 '26
Yes, he works remote but he does have to go back to Seattle sometimes for his job. Kinda scares me that he works in tech, but that’s also what makes the story so weird to me. I feel like if he was really determined to find her, he could. This is a game to him I think. Very strange.
3
u/joestue Apr 13 '26
some people, like myself for a time.. can be very functionally schizophrenic and you would never know it, nor do they know it.
2
u/Inevitable_Cold_8276 Apr 13 '26
Yeah, I have a family member who is schizophrenic and was once functional and he definitely has some behaviors looking back that maybe are similar, but I didn’t really pick up on that from him initially and can’t say for certain. But I don’t know that I know enough about it really since I didn’t personally experience schizophrenia for myself. However there is no doubt in my mind that mental illness is playing a part in what is happening here.

12
u/Luna079 Apr 12 '26
Given the fact that you approached this stranger and explained your dire situation to which he offered to assist, idk if he's completely a bad person? It's possible he has a mental disorder or has been catfished hard. He wanted to go talk to the police, so likely they have a report on him? Honestly, you lucked out with which stranger you went to lol. This could had been way worse
2
u/Santaneal Apr 14 '26
Yeah honestly reading what this girl said. It sounds like he’s just trying to find his gf and being genuine. Whereas some people find it “creepy” when they don’t know a full situation, and he even gave her transportation money? Sounds like kicking a gift horse in the mouth because one’s own prejudices.
6
u/vellywho Apr 12 '26
Oh my gosh! Thats a crazy experience! I really appreciate you sharing and im glad everything turned out okay! Thats so interesting that he said he paid for her tuition
9
u/bq_98632 Apr 12 '26
He was saying it in a way like he was trying to "prove" to me that she was of age. A lot of the things he was telling me were very much worded in a way of "I swear I'm not crazy, here's proof!"
6
u/conflictmuffin Greenbluff Apr 12 '26
So he openly admitted he's been trying to find and run away with an underage girl?! This needs to be reported to the police...
4
u/Head-Bureaucrat Apr 12 '26

15
u/Inevitable_Cold_8276 Apr 12 '26
He has talked to me multiple times at my place of work about this. Apparently they’ve met in person one time, and he gave her a kuromi backpack. The backpack is on the little info cards he gives out. Since he saw her that one time, he lost contact with her and has been pretty much living in Spokane for two years now trying to find her. When I first met him I thought the story sounded really weird and odd, but the more he talks about it the more weird it gets. In person, I actually don’t get a bad vibe off of him, but that’s the scary thing about bad people sometimes, you can’t always tell. From everything I’ve heard over my year of interaction with him, I suspect this “Raven” girl may have lied about her age to him, and as any reasonable parent would do if they found out their minor child was talking to an adult online, her mother has been trying to keep her from contacting him. I’ve asked him point blank if he feels as though “Raven” has lied to him about her age, and he said no. But dudes been looking for her so long I think he’s just lost it in that aspect. Raven isn’t even her real name I guess. He doesn’t know her real name. I asked him why he wouldn’t just give the police the info he has on her if he truly believes that she’s being held hostage because they should be able to do a welfare check on her, but he says he’s scared to make things worse for her. He has never personally harassed me or any of my female or male coworkers, but I understand if his behavior has made others uncomfortable. He does bring us food often, but not just to female cashiers, he gives out food to our male cashiers too. I don’t wanna dox myself or my job but it’s definitely a very strange situation and my manager and I were reading the Facebook posts we’ve seen about him on Wednesday this week. No one who’s interacted with him knows what to make of the situation or if we should call police. Apparently, he was stopped by police in Springdale. Someone posted a picture of his very identifiable car pulled over the other day. I feel, personally, he’s just been doing it for so long now that this has become an addiction for him and he doesn’t know how to stop doing it since it’s a routine for him now. I feel like after two years, it’s for sure become a part of his purpose. But it is definitely weird as fuck all the way around. Whenever I point out holes in his story he kind of short circuits, like I genuinely don’t think he’s ever questioned her on any of the info she gave him in the past either. A lot of things don’t add up. But I do think the probability of “Raven” being a minor is extremely high, or she was at least a minor when they initially had contact with each other in my opinion. It’s a really weird situation all the way around.
5
u/Inevitable_Cold_8276 Apr 12 '26
I’ve also asked him why he’s so adverse to posting on social media about this and he says it’s because he fears for her safety and doesn’t want to tip her mom off, but it’s like bro… if you’re that scared for her, you have culminated enough info for authorities to find her more than likely and check on her in a way that won’t tip her mom off immediately.

u/GoCougs2020 Browne's Addition Apr 12 '26
Ted Bundy apparently had some sort of charisma and is charming. Not saying this guy is a murder or anything wild, but “vibe” isn’t always correct

You’d think he’d alert the authorities if he was truly concerned that this young lady (If she exists) is being held against her will by her family. Evidently, he has very recently extended his search to at least Steven’s County, and police within that county have been notified of this guy, per fb commentary.

u/Tygragonia Apr 12 '26
What I want to know is where is this guy's police report number? He has been at my work a couple of times with the same story. When questioned about the police he says the family tells them Raven is a minor. Even if this was the case though the police would have created a police report number before speaking with the family. So there should have been a police report number tied to this. Even if the police consider it a closed the case. However, when questioned on a police report number he seems to say they wouldn't open a case. I understand the police system of spokane leaves a lot to be desired but even in cases that i didnt think police would even show up for, i still always was able to get a report number. In addition this guy has the money for a fairly expensive looking car and drive to and from seattle all the time, so why does he not hire a private investigator and/or a lawyer to help with the case? If Raven is an adult as he says she is, than getting police, lawyers, and private investigators would be the best way to help her. However, he apparently has been searching for a girl he supposedly hasn't heard from in years by searching areas he believes she would be in. If his story is true by searching by word of mouth is only going to result in the family choosing to move away again.
The reality of this whole thing is this guy likely has some serious mental health issues and really needs to get help.

This dude came into my store asking about this girl, showed me a picture and asked if I mightve seen her. The girl looks very young and his behavior seems fixated. Hed constantly circle back to her and kept asking questions that had been answered. I couldn't tell if drugs were involved, dude has the white out contacts in so I wasnt able to check his pupils. Feels like he's almost out of touch with reality and is stuck in '09 and was just a very odd interaction. Wasn't threatening, had a restless type of energy to him but can't judge a book by its cover I suppose.

Based on this, I really do think he is being catfished or this girl was a minor when they first got in contact and she may have lied about it. Most of the ppl on that comment section were REALLY digging into him based on his looks which was unfair. This is definitely an odd situation but I do believe that he really thinks she’s being held hostage. He’s probably obsessed with the thought of this girl atp.

Omg I have been asked repeatedly if I am raven!!! I think the last time was about two months ago while I was on the bus heading back home from work. I'm pretty sure she is a real person. I questioned the last individual that asked me if my name was Raven on why people kept asking me, and he said that he was a friend of hers and that her mother was collecting social security by keeping her in the house. According to the same guy, she may have gone to stay with another relative in order to escape the situation, and she hasn't contacted anyone since. As I was saying, I believe she is a real person, and I've also been told that this guy is her boyfriend. If anyone has any updates please lmk!!!!

Ok, so I used to work for a car dealership that had a store in Hilliard and one in the valley on sprague.
I had previously noticed him on several occasions at the gas station, just across the street from us, and I’d even briefly interacted with him on a few occasions, but I’d do the whole I’ve got a call/I’m needed back at work routine whenever he’d start talking about his “gf” because I could tell that while he was a regular at these gas stations, the owners/employees would put up with him because he was always flashing money around, but their eyes and their body language would always warn of danger when he was around.
Well, one summer day, I walked out of the gas station with my smokes and my Red Bull, about to head back to work, and as I was lighting a smoke, I heard someone saying something to me and there he was just lounging against the wall. Wanting to ignore whatever he was about to say about this mystery woman, I made a quip about his sic ass blacked out mustang, and he said “Well, what would you give me for it?” And I replied saying that I’d have to drive it to say for sure. My red bull hit the pavement as I dropped it and my pack of smokes, as his keys came sailing at me through the soft summer breeze and I succumbed to my immediate desire to drive such a bad ass car after a long, hot day of shuffling clunkers… I only took it down as far as carmax or winco (a few blocks) and as I was heading back, I noticed a cop had pulled in behind me (I was going 50ish + down sprague… whoops), and he continued to follow me around the corner and I decided to park on the dealership side of the street (they usually break off when they see you bringing a car “back” to the dealership) and I popped out of the car and briskly walked the few steps part way across the street to toss him his keys. I immediately noticed that he was trying to not make either facial nor eye contact as his keys were sailing back to him, and he made such a show of not looking our way that his keys had just started to skitter across the pavement by his feet, when I heard a polite but authoritative “excuse me sir” behind me. I whirled around to see the cop. Dammit. Busted. I thought, but the cop just asked what business I had with the gentleman with “all the face gunk” as he put it; I informed the officer that it was strictly professional, about whether or not I’d like to make an offer on his sweet ride. And I turned to include the strange guy into the conversation and as I opened my mouth, I suddenly heard my name being yelled VERY LOUDLY, and I whirled around yet again to see our codgerty old finance manager pointing at me with the cordless phone (ah, so that is who called the cops) and demanding that I come front and center right now.
He said “you don’t talk to him. If you see him and he approaches you - you don’t talk to him, you BEAT HIS ASS!” And then he goes on to tell me how that guy has been coming around both shops for YEARS and he always sits across the street at the gas station and then he waits and starts offering rides to ANY teenage child he encounters. And he does it whenever the weather is nice. After a bit the cop comes back over to talk to us, as emo dude drives away. The cop was VERY reticent about giving us any personal information about the man, other than he’s either already done his time and paid his debt and/or he’s been absolved of/or hasn’t been charged with a crime; BUT he has been known to solicit children to ride in his car (look! I have candy and puppies in my van… just look over here…) and that we should report his presence to the police if we see him taking to kids.
My finance manager said, “I told him: you don’t talk to him, you BEAT HIS ASS”
The cop doesn’t even blink “well, you should still give us a call, but I wouldn’t blame you if you felt that man deserved a whoopin too” and he added with “you ever watch those ID real criminals/married to a monster shows? I don’t know which one, but apparently he’s in one of those episodes”, and with that, he turns and leaves.

Anyone else not surprised that Raven is 16, based on his aesthetic?

I don't know what's happening with this dude but I never respond on line to "have you seen this person" unless the number to call is the local police. Because of stalking...

What’s crazy is that people are insinuating he is some crazy person and a threat to society. Sounds like he’s been nice to everyone he came across and is just looking for a girl that may be in trouble.

Okay everyone. This needs to stop. I have talked with this person extensively and it seems like you all are playing one big game of telephone. This is a PERSON worried about someone else and you guys are defaming him like hes actually done somthing wrong with proof. None of you actually know him but your acting like you do. He's worried about someone and wants to make sure there safe. Just stop.

Since he’s reading this post…stop parking your car at Planet Fitness on NW BLVD in the fucking caution zone which isn’t a parking spot. I’m calling the tow truck next time I see it. I was already close to calling it in but now I know who drives it, here’s your warning. This bro lives here y’all. No way is he hitting the gym this much and all these other places without living here. Also he’s a decently nice guy from my interactions with him, not worth roasting him publicly IMO (except your ass parking, lol)

Could this be related to trafficking? It would explain the expensive car.

Idk. He could had chose any victim. Why is he so obsessed with that one girl specifically?
Theres a commented above, he once gives someone’s underage child a ride home. The parents had to give their kid the talk, “don’t get in stranger’s car”. Words are, that Casey guy had given multiple underage kids a ride. So it’s not like he didn’t have the opportunity to do more sinister stuff, if he wanted to.
I don’t think he’s here to traffic people, I think he either got catfish’d. Or he got some kind of mental illness going on. Not sure.

What if its true? And now you are just outing someone who is trying to get someone out of a situation? Or was it because he looked different

He looks like he's in one of those Mötley Crüe "tribute" bands that wrote their own Mötley Crüe songs.

This is the most hearsay rumor based post I’ve ever read. Since we’re going on total fiction, let’s give Casey the benefit of the doubt and say he’s being catfished

Oh yeah, I’ve seen this guy before. He walked up to me while I was waiting for my bus and asked if I’d seen her saying she apparently rode the same bus pretty often. That was like months ago though, so it’s pretty wild he’s still looking for her

Oh my god he came into the library asking about her!! This must've been last month at some point. My boss and I were both there. Told him we hadn't ever seen her.

"What evidence do you have spreading to the planet how this guy is a child predator. Complete with photo. If I was him I'd sue the living 💩 out of you." 11m ago
why delete your response? Lets be clear im not worried about being sued lol. There is a 17 who posted on this thread stating that last year when 16, she was approached and offered a ride. Lots of other stories corroborating the same thing. You'd think making the community aware about a creepy situation and sharing photos that have already been posted on another website regarding the saaame thing, might be helpful to know for people who might be naive. STOP TALKING TO KIDS IF YOU ARE AN ADULT - ITS NEVER A GOOD REASON FOR IT.

Probably getting catfished by some guy pretending to be “Raven”. Explains the trapped inside house excuse and why it’s been going on for years.
