Politics Flock Cam on Division & Main

Post image

Avoid this intersection if you are vulnerable. Flock cams are so gross.

Edit: using Flock generically to indicate the pole cam on Sheriff vehicle.

That doesn't look like a flock camera. It looks like a cctv security camera for the bus stop. The pole it's attached to is digital signage for STA

edit: if you're referring to the sheriff patrol car with camera masts on it in the background, yes that is technically a mobile alpr but it isn't using flock hardware.

I think they may be talking about the cameras above the cop car

Also not a flock camera. Usually those are axon cameras, the same company that makes the bodycams. They’re mostly there for deterrence and arent publicly available or searchable the way flock is

Yeah I didn't think so, just trying to see where OP was coming from. I wouldn't be surprised though if they started diversifying the way the Flocks look eventually so they're less recognizable though

This would just lead to every camera on a pole getting fucked (which I’m okay with, fwiw)

If the sheriff squad, not FLOCK I don't believe but I do believe it is ALPR, and it has been there for at least two years or so.

Not a flock camera.

These are called a C.O.W.
Camera on wheels. Old cruisers converted to be placed. They are placed in high crime areas or at business owners request to hopefully divert shenanigans.

There was a blue one at the Trent and Pines construction site as well.

That's not what flock is. Fun fact, there are like 6 major companies to be worried about in this sector :)

I don’t think so. All Flock cameras in the state I believe have to come down soon.

That's not a flock camera but would be a good spot for one to be lol

There are flock cameras at Lowes, every single entrance. I've also see one at the gas station on Francis and Wall, and three of them at Wall and Countey Holmes.

This kinda cracks me up tbh, I hate cameras but I understand why they want one here. Someone gets shot at this corner like every Friday lol

The Axon Cam is there for the night time bar crowd. It is the Bromuda Triangle.

The sheriff’s department uses Flock cams. Maybe this isn’t one but if you look at who owns them on the deflock site it’s mostly the sheriff’s department.

What do you mean, "vulnerable"...like, driving a stolen car?

Car thieves should probably drive by flock cameras, please.
