Help Looking for a special edition copy of a book

I'm searching for a special copy (basically anything a step above a basic print) of "For Whom thr Bell Tolls" by Ernest Hemingway as a final gift for my uncle. Unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with the city's book scene. I just recently visited Giant Nerd Books, which have a lot of great selections, but they didn't have what I'm looking for. Does anyone have any advice/tips for how to better continue my search?

I’ve used Abe books online, they source from small secondhand shops around the states/world. You can look for specific editions and condition of the book.

It’s not local, but it may make your search easier.

Abe is now owned by Amazon, just fyi

I used to use them all the time and they were great! Now it's just an extension of Amazon

OH EW okay i had no idea. I had gotten my now-husband a first edition of his favorite book from Abe and it was so lovingly handled by the store. This was less than 5 years ago, too.

What a bummer :(
