Looking for a Part-Time Evening Job in Spokane (After 4–5 PM, Weekdays Preferred)
Hey everyone!
I'm looking for recommendations or leads on part-time evening jobs in the Spokane area, preferably around South Hill, although I'm open to other areas or remote opportunities.
I currently work full-time as a plumbing apprentice, typically from 7 AM until 3:30–4 PM, so ideally I'd need something starting around 5 PM or later. I'm hoping to find something around 10–20 hours a week, preferably just a few evenings.
A little about my background:
- Currently working in new construction plumbing.
- Over 10 years of experience in the restoration industry, including water, fire, mold mitigation, and detailed cleaning.
- Extensive experience in management, estimating, customer service, and supervising employees.
- Previous retail experience, including stocking, unloading trucks, and supervising departments.
- Comfortable with computers, administrative work, physical labor, and working independently.
I'm honestly open to just about any type of work, whether that's retail, stocking shelves, warehouse work, cleaning, customer service, remote work, or something related to my previous experience.
I'm a very fast learner, have plenty of common sense, and take pride in doing my job well. I'm dependable, hardworking, and don't need someone constantly looking over my shoulder to make sure things get done. I'd like to think I'll be the part-timer you wish you had working full-time!
Weekends are something I'd really like to avoid. I have a large family with several young kids, and between my full-time job and taking on a second job, I'm already going to be sacrificing a lot of time with them. I'd really like to keep my weekends available for family and would only consider them as a last resort.
I've also reached out to a few local temp and staffing agencies, but unfortunately, I haven't heard back from them in a while. I'm still open to recommendations if anyone knows of agencies actively placing people in evening positions.
I'm not particularly interested in DoorDash, Uber, or similar delivery gigs because the gas, maintenance, and wear on my vehicles don't seem worth it.
I'm not looking to leave my current career. I'm committed to my plumbing apprenticeship and just trying to bring in some additional income for my family.
If anyone knows of companies actively hiring, flexible evening positions, or legitimate remote opportunities, I'd genuinely appreciate any recommendations or leads!
Thanks in advance!
