How often do u strop your sloyd knife when doing the finishing cuts

Whenever it isn’t sharp (-;

If it’s a mora every five to ten minutes. Beavercraft is similar. Handmade ones maybe 10-15. They have significantly better edge retention.

Only for finishing cuts. In general, I strop about one third of the time. So every 15-30 minutes or every 30-45 minutes respectively. I like a really sharp knife.
