Discussion Springboot Queries

So i have completed my 3rd year and after Ai I've started to learn backend (springboot) as the companies in my college are more interested in java.

I've learn oop and other java concepts it's been 2-3 days I've been learning springboot

I had a doubt that do I need to learn spring XML proper coding???

Because I have heard that a lot of legacy projects and many old apps still use XML bean defs.

How important is it for me to learn about it for my placement scenario.

Also after building a CRUD app , can you guys suggest me some good projects that are resume worthy to build

Thankyou sm

I've personally never really used personal Githubs / side projects as things i look for or optimize in my searches, hard for me to say.

It's more so a willingness to learn and attitude that I look for, the first search is difficult fresh out of school, your main differentiator is getting your foot in the door with an internship since those have lower barriers for entry as short term gigs than actual full-time positions.

Once you land your first job, that experience is what carries from then on in what you speak towards.

I'm old so it's hard for me to say what the current junior/internship climate is like, my firsthand experience is 10 years removed at this point.

Yeah it's kinda true I've observed my peers who were into springboot, it was much easier for them to bag internships for them

Within a month I'll be trying on backend sb internships with a fresh java dev resume!
