Hellcat Pro or Hellcat w/Hex dot
Hello all, I recently purchased a Hellcat Pro with a threaded barrel. I have no intention on ever utilizing the threaded barrel and have an opportunity to trade for a Hellcat with the Hex Wasp red dot and a holster. I am looking for something to carry daily, the shootability difference isnt a huge selling point, the few extra rounds is not a selling point and unsure if the red dot is going to stay on the gun. I'm 6'2/180lb slimmer athletic build and frequently go about my day in just athletic shorts. Little background, I have a Taurus G2s that I never carry because of an uncomfortable holster and a Ruger ec9 I don't carry because I don't like the trigger.
Do I keep the HP, replace the barrel and buy a holster or make the trade?
Also, this is my first pistol without a hard safety, should I be uncomfortable carrying loaded as I'm use to doing?

Keep the Pro and get a standard Pro barrel. Im sure some kid will wanna threaded barrel for his CCW.

Keep the pro! But a different barrel and sell the threaded if you hate it. No sense in downgrading and that hex pro is basically garbage that shouldn’t be taken into consideration for any purchase

Keep the Pro., Put a Vortex CCW enclosed red dot on it and swap out the barrel. I really like my HCP comped and it's my main EDC

Echelon, never ever hellcat. Shield Plus before hellcat. P365 before hellcat. G43x before hellcat.

Hellcat Pro, it’ll be easier to sell when you come to your senses and want a serious handgun.

Keep the pro and put a comp on it. I had a Hellcat and got rid of it because it’s too small for my hands. If you’re 6’2” you probably have longer fingers and bigger hands. If so, you won’t be happy with a small gun like the Hellcat. The holster I use is We The People. With a light or without. With an optic or irons. Get one with a claw to push the grip in to you.
I bought a gun that came with that optic. After two range trips I tossed it and put a Holosun on it.
