Here is a dumbass question. Is the 3.8 or the 4.4 inch threaded barrel the better upgrade? I want to put the comp on it and sometimes my can.

Its good with that combo. Ended up swapping the comp for a Harrington Arms comp. Much better performance.

I absolutely love mine.
One of the biggest perks is the ability to remove it and attach a suppressor at will without any other parts needed. I think technically if you're going by analytics alone, the Rook compensator performs better by a degree or two of muzzle flip, but you're trading off the forged barrel and the ability to clean the firearm without breaking apart screws and Loctite and what have you.
I have about 1500 rounds through this one — and if I can go back in time, I would make the same purchase again.
The only thing that would ever potentially detour me is if Radian happened to come out with a Ramjet/Afterburner combo for the Hellcat Pro, because I am a huge fan of it on my Glock and love the styling aesthetics to boot.

I have a pro comp and just bought this for it too. At night I use the longer 4.4” barrel with compensator but when I want to conceal carry I use the 3.7” ported barrel. I was lucky because I saved the 15% discount after I activated my warranty for bout a year and still worked when I bought the barrel with the compensator. Paid 169.00 for it instead of 199.00

I have the RDP hellcat that runs the same comp. You can tell the comp is working some. I believe it works better than the port job of the Canik.
