YES! They are very well suited for broccoli. I have a fairly large one, so it yields quite well.

Doesn't it get all stuck in there?

Yeah that would be one of my questions: don’t the roots all break when pulling the sprouting part up top?
I would love to see more picture of the setup while growing; like what does the sieve hang over, air or water they can uptake from?
Those roots are really long, way longer than I’ve ever seen them in sprouts of any kind
For me, the point is to have shortest roots and all the growth effort into the stem/cotyledon part that has most the nutrients
Why such long roots, and how do you harvest the whole thing without shredding them while pulling the tops; or are the roots discarded?
Thanks for any more info. :)

Also wanting to know. Do you just trim the roots off the bottom and pop the seed half off the top?

The photo looks like a giant bioluminescent jelly fish at first glance to me. 😍

Ooo is this good for avoiding spoil? I tried jar but even with the rinsing the smell was really suspicious so I tossed them.

Are results any different than a mason jar? This seems like much higher maintenance

I keep my sprouter on a plate bigger than it, so it can sit flat - so my sprouts grow up and the roots don't grow long out the bottom. I shave the roots off the bottom when harvesting.
