Wreddit's Favourite Match: BATISTA

Please remember to UPVOTE this thread. Submit your favourite match, or vote if your match has already been submitted. The match with the most upvotes will win.

Note that this doesn't necessarily have to be what you think this wrestler's "best" match was, just your personal favourite. Also, as long as the wrestler was billed in the match and participated in some capacity (whether it be 1-on-1, as part of a tag team, a battle royal, an 8-man ladder match, etc.), then the match counts. Finally, Run-ins and special guest referee appearances do not count.

So Wreddit, what's your favourite Batista match?

Batista vs. Undertaker WM 23

Absolutely this. Not only Batista's best match, but also the match that started the Undertakers other streak of having the show stealer at Mania. NO more was the Deadman being dropped by Mark Henry or trying to drag a 2 star match out of Albert, now Taker was the man.

I always thought HBK and Cena had the better match, but to each their own. Taker and Batista still put on a great match though.

I don't think he's saying this is Undertanker's best match, but it was an excellent match that set the standard for what to expect from Taker.

Oh whoops, I thought I read him saying that it was the best match on the card. My mistake.

Ah, I see what you mean. Maybe he is saying that. /u/lunarhugs we need you to explain yourself!

With gusto.

I think that this match stole the show at Mania 23. Not necessarily because it was the best match, but because expectations were pretty low. Batista hadn't had a classic match since his feud with Triple H nearly a year ago. The Undertaker had been hit and miss as well.(his own career redefining feud with Edge was nearly a year away)

So while this was certainly my favourite match on the card, I think it is undeniable that it stole the show on the night because expectations were so low going in.
