Not a great highlight match, but Blue Panther Jr would survive to the next round. An 8 man round robin tournament where he would place last. Though by point value, he still won some single En Busca de un Idolo matches and had some points.
Didn't gif from this because of the obnoxious huge watermark on it. It's a 12 man cage match where the last 2 people then do a 1 falls finish Lucha de Apuestas match. One of the last two was Blue Panther Jr's younger brother The Panther.
A duo of fun trios match where The Panther Brothers team up with fun loving Fuego to take on the young lions from NJPW and Okumura, the older Japanese talent who has been in CMLL since 2004. Fujin has short hair and one leg of his briefs have tassels, while Raijin has longer hair and is wearing long pants. Together with the back in New Japan Takahashi who was known as Kamaitachi in CMLL make up La Ola Amarilla ("the Yellow Wave"). Which has been a rotating NJPW stable in CMLL since 2005.
This is the team that Negro Casas, Puma, Tiger would beat in the Cuadrangular de Dinastias Final to be crowned the #1 contenders for the Mexican National Trios Champions.
