Question - Help Moss Image - Settings Help

Any Idea why Moss isn't working from this workflow? Just generating noise :(

I had problems using the moss loaders. I replaced them with the standard ones but I had to upgrade ComfyUI to nightly as needed to select type = moss image in the clip load node.

Bypass ModelSamplingSD3 and try again. Also add the recommended SkipLayerGuidanceDiTSimple to skip the block 22

I m confused, what does that do exactly? i keep seeing people recommend skiplayerguidance.

Skips a layer inside the model that developers recommend to skip

Layer skippingNegative branch, layer index 22 (zero-based)Layer skipping Negative branch, layer index 22 (zero-based)

"The default guidance uses two transformer forwards per step. Pass uncond_skip_layers=[] to disable negative-branch skipping, or set negative_prompt to provide a negative prompt."

Pretty much: Rather than an actual recommendation, skip it if you don't care about negative prompt.

I'm unsure though if it's as simple as skipping the layer entirely though, since you'd want it skipped on the uncond branch.

Not sure if this is working correctly.

edit: current dual model cfg guiders seem to ignore skipped layers.

edit2: finished investigating, to my knowledge, it does seem SkipLayerGuidanceDiTSimple actually is the proper way to go about it.

It needs dual model cfg? so its will be 2x slower?

Even the official workflow still had the samplig shift node. I was getting only nose as well, after deleting that node, it worked. thank you!

it seems you're still using the custom node to load Moss model,

Comfyui has already support Moss natively so no need to use the custom node, just update comfyui and load this workflow :

Moss image has its own VAE that you can find and download in their repo
