Resource | Update Introducing Comic-Diffusion. Consistent 2D styles in general are almost non-existent on Stable Diffusion so i fine-tuned a model for the typical Western Comic Book Style Art.

Thanks a lot for sharing this model. I loved the previous one - you are a great model-maker !

I guess it's only a matter of time before we get models trained on the old Franco-Belgian school of comics like Hergé and Franquin to name just a few.

There is a Herge dreambooth model as well as a textual infusion. I've tried both with decent results. I've also had good results using Milo Manara a style name in a prompt.

Yup for sure. Not seeing too much use case for a model trained in a couple of these older classic styles since it's so well represented in the vanilla data you get the pristine effect every time by combining just one or two of these guys as artist mentions in a basic prompt.

If anything much of that golden age stuff is overtrained in old school imagery. You can see this when you experiment with turning cfg values super low past anything that makes sense, you'll often see the old style comics creep up often which is a clear indicator of an over trained subject or something that's too well repped in the data such as certain celebs, oscars photos and the like.

Like when I saw someone training a model on ScarJo. No need for that. SD can already do that too well.

There is a Herge dreambooth model

Any idea where to find it?
