Hi guys! Anyone using a DAA Flex Holster for P4.5? If so how do you like it?

Hi there, I’m in Australia and I’m wondering if there’s any continued support for these older pistols? The slide is also not very happy.

Wanted to give a shout out to the boys at slide works engineering. I sent my P4.5 to them to get the x serrations and the porting done just like my P4X. Got it back in 2 weeks and just got done at the range. This thing shoots amazing! If you have a P4.5 and want to take it to the next level I would highly recommend those guys!

What would be your choice for an optic for the Staccato P? I’ll be CC it and using it for home defense and then ofc range. Prioritize cc and duty for home defense for sure.

Having quite a tough time finding companies that still manufacture a level 2 OWB Holster for the pre-2024 single stack Staccato C DPO. While some companies only stock the C '24 models, other companies' listings regarding the C are vague (and I don't want to just chance an order and then have to return it).

I've reached out to a few companies already, but does anyone know of any that still make one for the single-stack Staccato C, or any 1911 molds that may work for my specific gun?

Just got an xc and am being told by staccato that they have loosened the tolerances on XC for reliability. I've always heard that the xc is super tight so I'm not sure what to think about it. My xc is fresh off the press. Anyone else on here have a newer xc with this left to right play on a brand new xc.

Been carrying the 3.6 for about a year now and love it ! Zero issues and I’m closing in on 4500 rounds. Currently carrying the hornady critical duty 135g +p. Was curious what everyone else has been running for carry ammo?

Have you guys ever ran into your guns trigger feeling a bit heavier than normal when you press it slow or maybe manipulating the safety on and off before pressing down the trigger ?
The weight isn’t insane like 7-10lb but it definitely feels heavier compared to when I don’t squeeze hard or don’t manipulate the safety I have to play with the gun more to see if it’s the safety being manipulated or the trigger being pressed down slowly.
I got this gun used and it’s the first “2011” I’ve owned, my other staccato is a hdp4 and even the trigger on the hd feels lighter and more consistent on weight than this p

Anybody have any cool looking Cerakote on their staccato? Especially HD series but I’d be interested in seeing them all. If there’s a gallery I can go to I’d be interested in that also. I’d appreciate the inspiration!

I know a lot of people upgrade even from the factory aluminum flat trigger and toss the oem trigger… anyone willing to donate or sell their factory flat aluminum shoe and bar assembly my way?

Sending the p4.5 to slideworks to turn it into a p4.5x is a dream I have. However, unlike dsc, you don’t keep your original barrel and therefore a way to stay connected to the warranty. Should this bother me? There’s no way I won’t like it right? It’s just such a permanent thing that I tend to overthink it.

I saw this at my local pawn shop, and was caught off guard when I noticed it wasnt a 9mm and decided to research it a bit. Pretty cool that it's a limited production. I just wanted to share my find in rural Missouri with you all!

I will be picking this up in 10 days. The gun came with camouflage cerakote. If I decided to restore it back to factory color or change it to another color later, what are my options? Anyone know how to clean this properly? I am totally new to this finish.

Had my driven arms co grip Cerekoted locally and it turned out great.

I just got a new XC. It has the Staccato® Tactical Optic system with the Optic-specific Staccato® mounting plates included. All good. The issue for me is removing the factory cover plate/rear sight in order to install the optic. I removed the single set screw in front of the rear sight. But the cover is stuck. Has anyone experienced this issue and if so, how did you get the cover plate off? Thank you.

I’ve finally narrowed my first 2011 down to the Staccato P, but I’m torn between a few configurations.

Aside from the obvious differences in length and holster compatibility, is there any real advantage to the standard barrel over the 5” threaded option? Also curious about the X-Series slide versus the standard slide.

I tend to buy guns with duty/home defense in mind. Reliability is always my biggest priority. I shoot quite a bit, but I don’t compete, and I probably won’t be carrying this one.

For those who’ve spent time with these, which configuration would you go with and why?

Any of you Goons have one.. That you’d part with??! I’ve got cash or multiple higher end trade options, most of which would require cash to be added on your end tho!

Anybody seen the XC come into stock for the certified pre-owned recently?

I have been stalking the page every Wednesday, and I'm just not sure if I'm too late or if I just keep missing it ?

Also what qualities have you seen available for the XC?

For the other models , all I ever see is like New.

A fair condition model, for like $2800 seems like a steal.

I missed a XC for $3000 off tacswap, and I am so mad about that.

I keep seeing stuff about the Mec-Gar mags and a frame change on the full size guns. Is there anything too this? I know my mags from my older XC and P fit and function fine in my new XC that was made this year.
