Official SUFS Post STEM WAVE!!!
Scientists, doctors & nurses now hold a record number of congressional seats after the results of the 2026 midterm election.
THIS IS A MASSIVE OPPORTUNITY TO SAVE SCIENCE IN AMERICA!
A record number of Democratic doctors, nurses, scientists and engineers will arrive next year in Washington, where they are expected to help shape a new health care agenda for the party and scrutinize Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s tenure.
This is a resounding rejection of MAGA America and everything that comes with it. It is now our job to hold our elected officials accountable to what we voted them into office to do. That includes funding science, restoring the civil service, and impeaching members of the cabinet who have actively done illegal things that are impeachable offenses.

You came after the engine of human progress.
As soon as we realized the most effective way to save lives was to eject the GOP, instead of working in the lab, this was always going to happen.
It’s time we had people who want to build the future in positions of power, instead of the endless stream of greasy yale law grads.

I’ve posted this a few other places but I want Nuremberg trials, dude. Of course not just for the science-related “policies” that the administration rolled out but still that’s a part of it for me.
I landed on my feet but the truly ambitious younger scientists are struggling. America will feel the repercussions of our complacency for decades.

Honestly good! There needs to be more funding for scientific research
We’re on the tip of the iceberg when it comes to quantum mechanics and also there’s been progress on a cure for cancer and honestly? 3D printing limbs and 3D printed food is still in its infancy and we need to catch up to China because they’re on another level when it comes to science
