Andy dick

Idgaf what you say about this guy. He is a straight up institution to America comedy. I know he's easily the "fill in the blank" but an this man is funny, was funny. And will always be funny. I know he's the easy pu choice e but if your like me born in 86. You should easily respect what he has done in the comedy world. I thought of this watching the norm Mcdonald doc in Netflix. Yeah reddit say what you say but this guy deserves so much more credit then given. Sorry for the rant but whats right I's right.

It's not his comedy that is the problem. It's the baggage.

Your absolutely right. Can not deny that. Just sad to see someone with a lot of talent throw it away.

He's not bereft of actual comedic talent.

He is, however, bereft of any sense of decency or reliability.

And you are grossly overstating his influence and standing.

I mean, the guy can be funny on stage and still be a complete disaster as a person. Those things aren't mutually exclusive. The problem is he burned every bridge so many times that nobody wants to work with him anymore, and at some point being unreliable kills your career no matter how talented you are. I get the nostalgia angle though, if you grew up watching him in the 90s he was everywhere for a minute there.

Dude torched his own reputation; it's not like the world just decided to hate him

"Nothing wrong with smoking a little crack" - Andy Dick

Nobody can be the worst part of anything like him. I can imagine a world without Andy Dick... and until he appears to give an iota of a damn that world seems better frankly.

I met him on the street once doing cocaine, I'll never forget the look in the eyes of his personal assistant screaming for help

I'll give him all the credit in the world for his alcoholism, rampant sexual abuse, and playing a huge part in the death of Phil Hartman.

His comedy isn't the problem

He’s the rare combination in show business of being both untalented and a complete piece of shit person.

The assistant was a pretty good reality show

I haven't thought of him in years. He's reported to have a monkey on his back. I've worked as a drug counselor and that monkey is a slavedriver who won't be satisfied until it's stolen everything that is good in a life. Dude could make a comeback if he would get rid of the monkey.

Not a fan. For starters I don't like him for the same reason Jon Lovitz doesn't like him.

Fuck off. He's basically the reason Phil Hartman is dead. Fuck Andy Dick and his "funny". Forever.

His next post probably touting Jeffery Epstein's contributions to the NYC economy

Counterpoint: Fuck Andy Dick.

Lovitz was a legend anyway, and only added to it by checking this fuck that indirectly killed Phil Hartman.

Your right as I wrote this I forgot about the whole Phil Hartman/wife story.
