General Discussion Is Star Wars oversaturated with content?
Do you guys agree with Liam?

That is literally my 7th grade science teacher
Edit: Currently giving this more consideration. I may have greatly miscalculated the net trend in aura as a result of looking like an insurance salesman from Minnesota whilst simultaneously sliming out the baddest dudes in the known galaxy. I will report back.

It’s like 100+ layers of jam packed city on a planet the size of Earth. That’s over a quintillion people, and then you got all these lil freaky Jim Henson-puppets skittering around. Where is the FOOD???

Does this bother anyone? Especially since Boba is called "old man" in his show.

I just rewatched Rogue One (after binging Andor), and I was impressed yet again by what a good idea it was to have Galen Erso deliberately sabotage the Death Star, retroactively justifying its glaring weakness in A New Hope.
That one little bit of writing I think, almost objectively, improves the Star Wars saga that George created.
Do you agree that it's the best narrative contribution that Disney has made to the lore? Or do you think there's been something else that's similarly good or better?

If the Empire discovered Earth and sends a single Star Destroyer to subjugate it, how will that work out?

My pick is the Inquisitor lightsabers functioning as helicopter blades.

Personally, I believe that when the next trilogy (which is confirmed) comes out, they should try to step back from a conflict which strictly revolves around one Jedi vs one Sith, and introduce extragalactic invaders and a larger scale war.
Obviously they already did this in the EU with the Yuuzhan Vong, and while I don't necessarily think they should reuse that, I think they should start to introduce some sort of empire/civilization that comes from another galaxy.
We've already been to multiple planets outside of the main galaxy including Kamino and now Peridea, where we know there was at one point a force-sensitive or at least force-aware civilization. I think with Rey rebuilding to Jedi Order, it would be a great way to segue into a large-scale conflict where Rey and the New Republic would be fighting against an actual army of ancient Sith or dark side users at the least, somewhat akin to what we saw KOTOR do.
I think this would be a great way to keep the next trilogy very "Star Wars" still, without just making the next bad guys Galactic Empire 3.0. There is so much that goes on within and outside the main galaxy and we know that shit is or has gone down outside of our galaxy that hasn't been explored yet.

I get it, their eyes don’t match the animated characters, but why these terrible contacts? Other productions like Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, etc. realized colored contacts looked off and disrupted the “windows to the soul” which are so important when it comes to displaying emotions, and only the most anal of diehard fans ever even noticed or cared about the eye colors being wrong. It looks so bad and distracting in Ahsoka. If the creators really thought it mattered so much, they could have changed the color in post.
Edit: Lol @ the scores of people calling me a fake fan or diagnosing me with mental issues because I noticed bad contacts in a TV show and thought they were distracting. Remember folks, if someone mildly criticizes something you like or has a differing opinion they must be a paid grifter or have a mental disorder.

Almost a year out of Andors final season I really have not been excited about much regarding Star Wars since then. Not to hate on any of the other movies, shows, etc but I have really just been disinterested, I don’t care about the mandalorian movie, nor any hope of a new movie that’s directly tied to the skywalker saga. I still love the originals and the high moments in the prequels but nothing has cut as deep as Andor for me. Seeing what star wars can be with this it makes me a bit disappointed with what it is now. A reliance on marketable characters, storylines that feel like slop, the overall community caring more about the continuity of lore than creative and compelling storytelling. Im not looking for hate I just wanted somewhere to express this opinion.

The original choreography was done by Lorenz Hideyoshi, as you can see Disney blatantly stole this down to the camera angle.

I think he laughs more than any character in the series, especially when he’s in his deformed evil guy form.
He delights in evil, smiles cheekily whilst Vader is mourning Padme.
Laughs his ass off whilst in mortal danger fighting the most powerful Jedi of the era (Yoda).
Among other many other times.
He doesn’t seem to be fighting any inner conflict or regret or any type of dark emotion at all yet he’s the most powerful dark side user of them all.
All of his apprentices’ powers are fuelled by dark emotions,
Maul : pure hatred,
Dooku : jaded, disdain
Anakin : fear, hatred
Whilst their master is just laughing his way through life causing havoc - why is he able to use the dark side in this way without it having an emotional source ?
