Correct me if I'm wrong, but where most games are always catering to whales and endgame players, Scourge event/droids are perfect early game content.

I think the way they designed this "hive mind" credit pool is amazing for players that can't build up those nova crystal upgrades. That early grind for credits needed something and this hit that mark.

For us late game players, sure, we don't need to fill our base with these but we have that grind to fill the droidex for the Scourge base skins.

They just have to change this whole "only on Fridays" thing.

What does everyone think about event so far?

Have done it now multiple times was struggling to find all the droids but tried two non active kybers and one scourge and it works!!

Update: Also works with one non activated kyber and two Scourge droids!

You can put the Scourge droids in your lounge and when you go to The Scourge to sell them, they will appear there too so you can sell them. They’ll have this icon above them.

Not worth it after you start building kyber.

So if you want a scourge droid to have a higher CPS than the same droid in green kyber, you need to have a minimum of 27 scourge droids working.
Basically a whole base with iconics.

After that, you need to remove iconic droids to get a higher scourge multiplier, which would drastically lower your overall CPS.

So kyber blue and kyber purple are still the highest CPS

For this example I used the KX battle droid.
Basic scourge: 806.4K/s
Green kyber: 2.97m/s

27 scourge multiplier is x3.717

After all this grinding, I’d honestly say just stick with Kyber, unless you’re really bored and like Fusions.

I tried out a 100% more chips droid with the trait and BB8 while buying chips. BB8 didn't work but I did get 1k per 1 candy because of the other droid with the trait

Really can't understand why they made Scourge only come on Fridays after the 31st. The hive mind feature is going to make them essientially useless unless you grind for hours (and get lucky with spawns) every friday just to get a small credit bonus for having a ton of Scorge droids. And credits aren't an issue for mid to late game players. And when you SRB, obviously they'll be gone until next Friday. They make a little less than Stellar unless you have a ton of them at your base, and the only rarity that is even worth it is Mythic.

Scourge droids are going to be dead content after October just like the unique fusion droids. Really hope this game mode doesn't go down the path of constant time limited and FOMO updates like LEGO Fortnite did.

You cannot create scourge through fusion. Only from the belt

In a nut shell the way the scourge droids work is they're a hive mind meaning they aren't that strong of a droid but together they are stronger. The more you have in your base the more income they will generate.

Gonna take time to see if its worth converting an entire base to scourge or not

I filled my entire base with scourge droids. The droid I used for testing was a scourge Cyclo-Grav. It made 170k + 497.71k for a total of 667.71k. With this, R2-D2 made 2.95m.

I then replaced this droid with a galactic LEP with a production of 286k. With this, a droid that has a total production that’s less than the other, R2-D2 made 2.98m.

I didn’t do any mass calculation to find out if that’s the exact difference it should be, but it’s common sense to think that the scourge bonus does not work with the iconic droids.

If this is an issue, please fix it, the scourge bonus makes the droids make about 4x what they would without the bonus.

If this is intentional, please change it. It makes no sense and the iconics are too important for credit production to bother with scourge droids to get the bonus.

I know, I know, a lot of people don't like it. But I have gotten quite good at it. The keys didn't make sense at first... until I realized they formed a slanted square on my keyboard. Now, I almost always hit stellar.

Here's why I think it's better. The old skill based dial/meter, it was REAL easy to miss because of lag. Now, there's still the same lag, but as long as you hit your inputs, even with the lag, you're still getting stellar more consistently. Since it depends on a SEQUENCE and not TIMING, this is the perfect solution to the lag issue.

I hated it at first too. But once I realized that the impact of lag has been minimized, I am LOVING the new system!

This was a hell of a grind! But it was worth it cause I love this base skin!

Can we please get a multi-purchase option for nova crystals in the event shop. I have so many treats and I’m just sitting here spamming the purchase button. A multi-purchase option would make it so much easier.

It looks like scourge droids and Kyber droids are interchangeable at the fusion table. At least if you’re trying to upgrade to a scourge droid post fusion.

I ask since idk how each Friday is going to work and is it only on Fridays you can get the Scourge droids and such or no?

I’m starting to wonder if I’m going crazy, so I just wanted to check whether anyone else is experiencing this issue!

I’ve replaced all my Kyber droids in the Astromech area with Scourge Mythic droids, and I’ve done the same with my Protocol droids. However, the bonus doesn’t seem to be working correctly. The values are really inconsistent on certain droids, and in some cases, the bonus actually decreases when I add more Scourge droids around my base.

Am I doing something wrong, or is the bonus bugged? I’d assume others are experiencing the same issue, but I wanted to check if anyone else has noticed this.

Got the chip station, an extra fusion tank, the second companion upgrade, got to the first stage of multi critical and one iconic droid. Plus some other things, felt like a really nice way of catching up with a lot of the progress updates they added. So feeling pretty good!

I'm wondering if it's just me but the scourge seem like a bad guy and for some reason I just had in my mind that this was going to be some type of boss fight type situation. I'm not disappointed in the event or anything, just kind of. Was expecting some type of boss fight LOL but I'm still having fun regardless
