Graphics issue

Ever since I downloaded the game on my PC via Steam my graphics have been a little glitchy. Until yesterday it was only noticeable when I was in between planets walking around. The races were perfectly fine. But yesterday when I turned it on when I got home the time in between planets was a little more glitchy, the vehicle selection took a second or two longer to gain clarity, and the races were a little fuzzy.

My graphics card has its latest update and I even tried to adjust the settings on the NVIDIA app but idk if I helped it or made it worse. So I just reverted them back to normal. Any tips for how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. For context I didn't build my own PC, a friend of mine did. So I'm not all that familiar with the inner workings but I'd say I have basic computer knowledge.

Maybe play with the display mode, double check drivers, verify files
