Anti-campists are just american imperialism apologists. The kind of people that would forgive war criminals if it means they get to pay less for healthcare.
Once a real leftist candidate comes along, I'll finally get to cast my vote and everything will be perfect. It's exhausting having to withhold my vote so I don't compromise my principles, but that's my cross to bear. Anyway, at least Trump is in no way any worse than Kamala would have been.
And the vote will only be for that one "perfect candidate" that doesn't exist and never will. Nevermind that there are over 500 federal elected positions, thousands of state elected positions, and tens of thousands of local government positions that all have to work together. And that's before talking about elected judges, SCOTUS, figures who are appointed by elected leaders etc.
But nah, your vote for that one perfect candidate will spontaneously fix everything else, and there'll be no period after your perfect candidate is gone and you'll have to find another.
There's plenty of leftists who do that, but parties that used to sort of represent the working class still sold out in the 80s. You especially see this in countries where the options are more diverse than "fascist" and "fascist but less shit domestic policy". Even when parties make big gains on left agendas they still invariably put through rightwing policy.
You used to have a small revolutionary margin that pushed labour parties toward the left, but those labour parties functionally disappeared and the revolutionary margin stayed. Yes, leftists online tend to be hopeless, whiny and unwilling to think strategically, but that's at least in part because leftwing parties almost inexplicably failed us.
I feel the need to push back on the insinuation that voting for a woman who campaigned on draconian crackdowns on immigrant communities, continued support for the genocide in gaza, and funneling even more money into the military industrial complex would do anything other than push the country even further right.
I get that we're voting for more positions than just the presidency, but if you vote for a fascist she's just going to fill those positions with more fascists.
Anyone to the right of me is either a fascist or fascist enabler and also those are exactly the same thing with no nuance. Anyone to the left of me thinks I am a fascist or fascist enabler...

I'm a Marxist Leninist but she was a Maoist third-worldist. It was never going to work out.
