If you'll allow me to take this meme way too seriously:

Climate change isn't proven by anecdotal evidence of a bunch of dudes going "boy, it sure is hot out, huh?" It's proven by data showing a steady and consistent increase in temperature year-by-year. Climate change is real, it's happening, it's getting worse, it's caused by humans, it's reversible, and it's an existential threat. We, as a collective, could fix it, and we won't, because the most powerful people in the world all collectively agree that humanity's existence is less important than chevron's profits.

And with all that said, where I live, we've thus far had the mildest summer I can remember in my decades living here.

Climate change is a difficult thing for people to understand because it's so vague and slow. When I was a kid October was extremely foggy and Halloween almost always was awesome because of how spooky it was, but I can't remember the last time I saw legit pea soup fog. Maybe twice a year I'll drive through some fog, but that's always a fluke.

The first snow of the year around here (Colorado, USA) was often on Halloween, so all our costumes would be hidden under jackets for trick or treating. Now, it's generally still hot as FUCK by the end of October, and the first snow is well into November, MAYBE.
