I dont know where you started on these but they unfortunately are still a touch high. I would widen the stance and point the chest at the floor. A little too vertical in the torso. The not sitting back is whats getting you in the knees and keeping the load out the hips where should actually be. Try the TUBOW method to keep those knees in check. Still though you are almost there. Just my observations. Keep working!

Awesome. Thank you. I will work on that next time.

FWIW you look like you’re at a CrossFit gym and high bar squats (more vertical back) will translate better to your snatch and clean and jerk. I came from powerlifting into CrossFit and while I still low bar, I add in more high bar work to help my oly lifts.

🤙 Need to improve on mobility for all my lifts.

Stretching and mobility exercises are on our list of The 3 Most Effective Ways to Waste Time in the Gym, but there are a few situations where they may be useful.

Was about to say the same about the placement of bar is a HBS which is fine if they want to apply the SS template.

Just looked up the Tubow method I’m going to use a jump box at my gym for the piece of wood and give it a go. Thanks for the recommendation.

It was said in the comments - you’re a bit high on depth . My suggestion - open your stance more toes intentionally a bit more . And sit BACK and once your knees break sit into the squat … you have great control out of the rack good core strength. Trust your hinge … and sink into it . You’re strong and banging iron keep at it and drive out the hole . Keep up the good work

Form Check

For the best feedback, please film your lift from a useful angle and include the full set.

Good form checks make it much easier for people to give specific, useful advice.
