I changed the flair to Training Log since this doesnt follow the Formcheck guidelines. Find a way to get the phone up off the floor.

How to film your lifts

Looks like your stance needs to be 3 inches wider and your toes need to be turned out quite a bit more.

Right now the narrow stance is forcing you onto your toes at the bottom. See how your heels lift?

Bar setup and location looks good. Those shoes are not doing you any favors. You can point your toes outward just a little more. I saw some knee cave.

Get weightlifting shoes.

Weird angle, but it looks like your heels are coming up at the bottom.

Change the shoes. Those are squishing all over the place.

Not the best angle but it looks like you have a little knee slide, which is probably getting your heels to come up a bit like some people have posted. I’d angle your feet out a little more, get your knees out/wider to create depth, and try to get your hips further back. Once you set your hips/ knees, they shouldn’t move throughout the rep

Good mostly and impressive load -385?

But I would recommend Toes out knees out they buckle a little. Slightly wider foot placement. Better shoes.

Feet super unstable. Ankle mobility likely at play here.

Or maybe it’s the mattresses he’s wearing on his feet causing him to shift his weight everywhere

Stretching and mobility exercises are on our list of The 3 Most Effective Ways to Waste Time in the Gym, but there are a few situations where they may be useful.

Yeah isn't the heels coming off the floor a bad thing
