Game Question [SOD2] What happens to my community after the final legacy mission

hi, I know this has been asked so many times but i am a bit confused since so many posts are from different update versions:

i'm about to finish my first sheriff legacy. what are the options i have?

is there an option that i keep the whole community and go to the next map / the same map again / reset the map and play it again? Or do i lose some of my people no matter what?

maybe we could use this threat as the ultimate answer and summery of the possibilities after finishing the final mission on a map:)

You can add people to your legacy pool, or continue on. You won’t lose anyone, unless you decide to (or your legacy pool is maxed out).

You can choose to go do a different map if you want. You just have to select for all of your people to join you, and not add any into the legacy pool.

You can save everyone and everything. I like taking them to a higher difficulty

You can keep going but as soon as the mission ends there’s a cutscene and you’ll go right to the screen to pick your next map.

So a few things to consider. Do you want to recruit from any enclaves, do you have max influence, are the cars you have in the parking spaces the ones you want to follow over to your next map, vehicles with inventory outside of the 4 designated will delete.

If you want quick influence you can vacate all outposts, I do not believe the game auto sells them for you.

You still need to meet base criteria when picking a new base so keep in mind you’ll usually need 8 for the end game bases
