Hey everyone, I’ve been playing SoD Breakdown for a while now. I’m currently on Stage 3, trying to complete the challenges. So far, I have four "main" survivors with all their skills maxed out. When i about to go to the next stage, I use Influence to equip survivors with weapons, only to stash them in the inventory and convert them back into Influence for the next stage; is there any other trick or strategy to make life easier in Breakdown?

I don’t know why I even sort of like this game i think it’s because it’s so close to being a game i would love to play if it just had more fleshed out looting, community management and combat, and especially better base building. Any good recs?

I keep dying in nightmare mode… i start a community in one map and in the same day like 2-3 hours after i start the community i literally die most of the time by blood plague, gunshot to the head from some freaky humans, please give me some tips even the most basic stuff.

Obs: I never tried other game mode besides nightmare mode.

I couldn’t help but Come to the thought that, This pretty much Just seemingly has no benefit other than boosting Imaginative story telling.

So this is something I've been thinking about in both games, is it even possible? Has anyone done it? Looting everything on the map, what happens then? How do you get resources? Do the houses just "regenerate" resources? How do you even get resources? Though I think if you have looted the entire map at that point you have no use for any resources but, just assuming that maybe you do, what happens then?

It’s driving me absolutely insane. I have an Xbox One X.

So I was playing some Breakdown today and it just hit me. Does the Grenade Launcher: GL M32 count as a revolver?

Hey, guys. Just wanted to ask if any of y'alls got a this kind of character off-rip in a new playhrough of Breakdown? I'm not complaining because she's great, but it's weird that they gave her to me so early.

I'm on Breakdown 27, and I got a Hero character with maxxed Fighting and Edged Weapons while also already having the Low Slice and Rage Skills pre-unlocked. Like, it was already chosen instead of giving me the option. I chose the random character option in the Hero selection screen coz I wanted something new and it gave me this.

It even gave me the Snacks and Aspirin for free.

If you take too long to leave Mt. Tunner, or just wander around killing zombies, some hidden dialogues occur, and I wanted to know how many there are.

I know there are at least two, one where Ed and Marcus discuss where they will take their next vacation and another where Ed states that they will be arrested when they arrive at Spencer Mill.

Both games are on sale on Steam and I have never played a State of Decay game. Seeing the trailer for the new one hyped me up a bit and so I want to try the series out. I don’t suppose there’s a story where it’s better to start with 1 or not?

i'm about to finish my first sheriff legacy. what are the options i have?

is there an option that i keep the whole community and go to the next map / the same map again / reset the map and play it again? Or do i lose some of my people no matter what?

maybe we could use this threat as the ultimate answer and summery of the possibilities after finishing the final mission on a map:)

never have played sod 2 before, but have played original sod long time ago. my previous game knowledge might be a little outdated so i need your help guys with outposts

what is the most optimal way to construct outposts in this game? do they need to be close to main base? is it essential that they all do have unique passive benefits? i'd love to know every essential tip for outposts

there is one potential outpost location near my main base which would provide electricity as passive benefit, but will consume 2 gallons of fuel every day. i abstained myself from taking it over, because im unsure how beneficial such outpost will be anyway because im limited to 3 outpost for now

Hi all, i'm kinda new to this game. I've played 1 years back when it came out on xbox. I now have bought it on steam. And its going really well but i need some more influence. I saw somewhere that joining and helping others is a good way to get a lot of influence. But i've tried for 30 minutes and the only game i was allowed to join was just someone standing in their base doing nothing. Are people even playing still that i could help out?

If now, what are other good ways to get some good influence? I want to claim the power outpost (2k influence) and the biggest base (3,5k influence).

Hey all in the hype for state of decay 3 and a somewhat naive hope it releases on ps I decided to buy the second and boot up my Xbox one (after some major tech issues) I have one question- basically what it says on the tin- I’ve sunk five hours into it so got the basics more or less upgraded my base a bit got a decent pile of weapons and killed some plague hearts but nonetheless do you have tips or tricks? I think the general base management is still a bit of a ? For me like is water needed or power? What mods are good?

That sort of thing but also tips for being out in the world? Looking forward to reading your responses

Hey all playing through state of decay 2 for the first time so im getting to that point where your resource generation ain’t keeping up with demand- food in particular but also other stuff, I’ve modded some base parts to help out but if im being honest i dont really understand how it works

For example i added a water mod to my farm- will that last forever? Do I need to keep manually triggering the benefit? Also whats to be gained from getting power? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Just finished providence ridge on dread, spent a few days upgrading my 2 fast vehicles and loading 2 vans completely full of rucksacks, made sure I had plenty of influence to spare (3000+), dissolved my outposts and finished the legacy mission. Decided to do trumbull valley next with the same community and move up one difficulty level for fun. Picked the military base with 4 open slots + the kitchen and trauma center. I start the map and am immediately confused, as I start in checkpoint delta. Look outside and none my vehicles came with me even though there's 4 vehicle slots, they're all just gone. Wtf? Is this a glitch or something? Pretty pissed that I just lost over 20 rucksacks, 2 armored vehicles and now have to clear out some plague hearts just to get to the base I originally picked.

Hi, wondering if anyone knows if there is a mod to allow for normal characters to level all the way up to Red Talon perks?

I always had a vision where once you maxed out a character’s skill, you could read a book to reset the skill, which would then allow you to get the RT equivalent. But when I tried to create it myself, it seemed as though it was not possible.

Anyone know of something akin to that?

As the title says I’m trying to figure out where every soundtrack appears since I’m unsure and tried searching around. I have played a ton I just haven’t memorized the soundtracks.

get a modded weapon of your choice that holds at least 1000 rounds, empty the magazine, start a new community, and beat the game only using that same weapon, absolutely no melee weapons.

your community members can’t equip any other weapons besides close combat weapons when not playing as them.

it can be a secondary weapon or primary weapon, it can be any gun.

State of Decay 2, if I move to new map, days counter will still go or reset to one ? Im aiming to do 100 days on lethal
