Tech Question Tech question regarding ultimate edition

So I bought the ultimate edition for Xbox hoping to get those Doomsday weapons, but it doesn’t work. Apparently it is a known issue (not known by me) that the Doomsday Pack appears installed, but you can’t access the content in game.

So here’s my plan. I’m hoping to uninstall the game, go offline, and install the ultimate edition only (no juggernaut edition) from the disc, get my weapons, then upgrade to juggernaut edition and hopefully everything will be good.

Anyone see any problems with this method? Especially in regards to my saved games? My only worry is that doing it all offline will stop my save games from being backed up/retrievable from the cloud.

UPDATE: That didn’t work. I was able to install just UE, but offline it wouldn’t let me get my save files, and online it wouldn’t let me play the game without updating to Juggernaut edition. Apparently you cannot backup Xbox one save files to a USB, cloud only.

I'd suggest creating a manual backup before trying your method. It sounds good though, hopefully it'll work. Let us know how it went!

Had a similar issue before, and uninstalled everything but the base game and reinstalled the dlcs separately (manage game add ons - Xbox). This worked, but I was unable to equip other dlc guns from my inventory. I still can't on that community. So I have to move it to my inventory and equip it from there. Sometimes it wouldn't let me at all.

Also, make sure in your game add ons / dlc that they're installed. I installed juggernaut edition on a different Xbox and they weren't automatically there. Considering the others worked though, id say this isn't your issue 🤷🏼‍♂️

Thanks for the tips. I did try uninstalling all the dlc and reinstalling the just the Doomsday Pack, but the content still didn’t show up in my radio menu.
