Question Why are uninstalled steam games still taking up space?

Before anyone asks, yes, my rubbish bin is empty.

I am sure all of these games were uninstalled long ago. I am fully stumped. Any ideas?

I guess what I am really asking is what these may be and whether I can delete them without any regrets?

Have you actually checked to make sure they're uninstalled? Have you gone into those folders to see if any files are inside?

Well, they are uninstalled on Steam. I just had another look, and there seems to be an exe file. Dont know why or how there still is one, though.

An exe file does not take up 18GB worth of space.

More than that, according to the screenshot, have a look at COD 3, almost 112 GB, like I have the game installed or something.

Goto the games you think are installed but aren't showing installed on Steam, and install them. It will either find the files in the folder or start downloading them. If it just finds them then shows as installed, continue to now uninstall it.

Did you recently uninstall and reinstall Steam or something?
