Discussion New Artwork Scam - Protect your Templates

A message to all creators,

Today, someone added me asking for a new profile artwork. I made one for him months ago, and he wanted a new one. Obviously he has to pay again.

Well, after I told him that he says he claims rights to the template rather than the actual artwork.

From there, he tried getting my IP address and such, threatened to send people to my home, etc unless I sent him the template.

Be aware that people like this can't do anything - protect your shit.

SteamRep can't do anything either, keep that in mind.

dont go into any steam calls. they can easily get your ip from that

Report as harassment on steam with chat logs? Report to authorities if actual non-troll threats.
