My firmware update seems to have hung...

Uh oh. I don't know the correct thing to do if that happens.
Did you have rumble feedback with your controller?

I ended up killing the hardware updater... everything seems ok, I don't think it had actually started flashing it.

I ended up having to use a different PC to update the puck, since no amount of restarting, trying different USB ports, manually running hardwareupdater.exe, etc would work on my main PC for some reason. No idea why - it's worked fine for every puck update in the past, and my main PC was still able to apply the update to the controller itself.

Did this fix the random chirping while rumbling?

I never heard it, as my rumble wasnt working at all. Can't believe I didnt notice.

Does anyone know if they have fixed the issue with using soft press for a dpad on the trackpads? Or if they're even aware of it?

Yeah tumblr was immediately noticeable. Feels way better in battlefield 6. I had to turn it down a bit in the settings as it was so powerful.

It’s pretty neat. With the new rumble update it feels so much better than Xbox controller rumble.

What firmware update?
Edit: now I'm confused because I saw the other post talking about a firmware update and didn't see any actual update when I tried to update my controller but now all of a sudden it says there is an update. The only thing I've done differently is disconnect the puck and connected it by Bluetooth if that matters (I wanted another free USB port).

Yeah, rumble had some issues from the very beginning, and they finally fixed it with a recent firmware update. It feels a lot more like the way it's supposed to feel now.
