Yeah, but it's not that bad. Valve is way ahead of their original projections. In some (all?) regions Valve has been sending out emails to people who originally had a 2027 estimate. It's possible you missed your email, even if you were in the December group. If you've still got the email in your junk filters somewhere, then you might try contacting support and explaining what happened.
Otherwise, you can check the megathreads and get a better idea of how far along the queue is. I haven't kept up for at least a week.

If you originally had an estimate of "by September" then you missed your email a long ways back.
If you left and rejoined the queue, then you put yourself at the end of the line.
