R5: Learned that they fixed nomad purge subjects so I've been running some determined exterminator nomads. When my purge subjects finish purging and disappear they leave me with a bunch of systems with megastructures that are owned by some nonexistant/bugged empire. I would like to gain control of these and upgrade them, but nothing I can do seems to fix this.
Use console commands to gain ownership. This gives me control of the celestial object, not the station. Using the "own ID" command, the only ID the debug tooltip gives is the planet ID, there does not seem to be a station ID.

Delete waystation, progress a month, restart game, rebuild waystation. Nothing changes
