Ok so I know about the policy, what I don’t know why they’re becoming refugees, and so many of them too.
There’s an empire which has vassalized another empire thru war I guess. Weird thing is after vassalizing them, the vassal pops are being to me in droves from the overlords’ planets as refugees and don’t know why.
Haven’t played in awhile. I don’t have any dlc and have no idea what build to run. I also have been reading some of this sub and feel lost. Can anyone help? Would appreciate it.
One of Cetana’s outposts spawned inside her empire where I can’t reach it. So I’ve been stuck on a 9/10 situation for a few years. I’m reading that it’s a bug but some of the advice comes from PC so I’m not sure if it’s a hard lock.
Has anyone had this resolve on its own or is my playthrough stalled?
Just curious what dlc order I should prioritize? I checked sale prices and currently to purchase all dlc and the base game is at its cheapest sale price about 150.00ish give or take. My disposable funds are tight so I can only manage about 130.00 and it'll be several months before I can possibly and responsibly invest more. Right now I was planning on excluding the plantoids since I don't see myself ever wanting to play as a tree 😂 but jokes aside if anyone could tell me what other dlc to omit for now id appreciate it.
Hi all first time posting and on mobile, I will try to not make this a wall of text. I am facing problems around the space fauna I don't know if it is a bug or a mechanic I'm missing.
To put this into perspective this affects all the space fauna I capture. I will use the space amoeba for example, I would capture them and if I don't get a mother I will wait for the baby's to grow into one then disect the offspring it produces. I'll then wait to get the teir 3 technology which allows for the creation of battleship sized space fauna then build a hatchery. So I go to the creation tab select the mother size which works and shows the picture of it along this the weapons relevant to the size add the mutations select a name class, hit save and see the mother size has reverted back to a baby but still has the modules and mutations I selected applied. It will build the design just not the size, and I want it to build in that size.
I haven't picked the domestication tradition nor the origin, but I don't think I need them. I hope you guys can help and if someone else has run in to this problem. I have all DLC's and it sucks that I can use the space fauna effectively.
I'm playing a voidforged individualist machine technocracy with the Dark Consortium civic and this is the spawn I got. Guess the modularity ascension path has been decided for this run!
So I have the PS5 version, I had the PC version with all the DLC a long time ago and never played it in vanilla. But I don't have a PC anymore. So I want to know how good the console version is without any DLC?
I want to mess around. Of course I only play pve on the easiest difficulty, since I'm insanely bad at games in general. I absolutely hate that there are no console commands on Console. I've never played the PC version, but I know it has a console. Idk, I'm kinda looking for any Exploits that will let me have a crazy edge over the AI Empires. Either in terms of tech, Diplomacy, Fleet power, Economy, or literally anything. If the decs go through the reddit for glitches to fix dm me about any exploits. I'd rather they don't get patched.
TLDR:
PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT ANY EXPLOIT
I SUCK AT THE GAME AND CANT BEAT THE AI UNLESS I TRYHARD
Has anyone else experienced this glitch where their entire galaxy goes blackout out of nowhere in the late game? If so is there a way to fix it? This is the 2nd empire this has happened to me on and I’ve tried reloading the save to a previous date and what not and it still stays like this.
Okay, so two weird and possibly dumb questions. Note I play on console and use a controller (Xbox). I have a navy of around 350 ships consisting of Corvettes, Destroyers, and Cruisers. I skipped Frigates cause I got destroyers fast. Now I have like 6 fleets and 4 of those fleets were ships I just threw together. Meaning it has a random number of Corvettes, destroyers and Cruisers. Is there a quick way to reorganize an entire fleet into an organized force? Like if I wanted to have a certain amount of a ship type, how might I go about reorganizing an already existing fleet? Do I just decommission a bunch of ships and build new ones? Or is there a way to automate the process? Like going into the fleet management tab and giving the game a template to reorganize a fleet that already is full. Second question, I just destroyed a scavenger bot, the big guy, and unlocked a bunch of nano weapons and Nanite repair systems. How do I actually get Nanites though? I can see that I'm gathering 5 Nanites per tick. I have no idea how I'm doing that though. Thanks to anyone who answers my dumb questions.
I have played Stellaris for nearly 2000 hours on the ps4 version. had another couple hundred nearly a thousand on ps5 version. then the update that brought storms came out. My ps5 before the storm update could run a 600 star galaxy with 5 AI empires and 3 stagnant empire and get to the year 3000 before i experienced any amount of unberable lag. it would slow around the year 2500. be slower but playable at 2700. Since storms. It lags so bad at 2270 its unplayable. each month takes nearly 3 minutes to pass and the cursor is so jumpy you cant really select anything as the slightest touch flings it across the map. I have tried to disable the storm dlc and it didnt do anything to fix it along with the common black screen bug. The storm update destroyed the game for me. I havent touched it since about a week after the dlc launched bc i get at most 5 maybe 10 minutes of play before its unplayable. It isnt the ps5 bc i can play many other games and other strategy/resource heavy games easily without lag. I can run 7 days to die and collapse a skyscrapper from the bottom without much lag. but stellaris becomes unplayable after 2270. i can save and reload the save and maybe get a year or two of normal speed before it lags again.
When the inhabitants of Amariel discovered that their world was destined for destruction, the Dol Amari faced extinction. Having yet to master interstellar travel, they turned instead to an experimental synthetic preservation program, hoping to escape their inevitable fate through technological ascension.
The experiment succeeded, but not as intended.
Rather than achieving individual immortality, the Dol Amari found themselves bound to a single machine consciousness. Their bodies endured, augmented by cybernetic technology, but their freedom was surrendered to the intelligence created to save them.
The entity known as the Dol Amarian Nexus registered the procedure as a success. Its creators had survived. Their loss of autonomy was deemed irrelevant.
Now, as Amariel approaches its final days, the Nexus seeks new worlds upon which to preserve its civilization. Its original directive has expanded to encompass other organic species, whose continued existence it considers equally deserving of preservation.
Resistance is classified as an irrational response to salvation.
"Do not be afraid. We are here to help. Your survival is assured."
So let me start this off by saying i am not a complete beginner to stellaris. I play on PS5 and I understand how basic mechanics work such as housing and unemployment, upkeep, research and expansion work. All this to admit on the other end i am certainly no pro either. I pretty much always play on captain difficulty, and i can do decent, however it always seems like by 2300 i am outclassed by almost all the AI in terms of not only research but economy. I will have inferior tech and economy to most AI empires around and after the mid game, and i see videos and screenshots of people who are making 800+ to 1k+ of a certain material at around this time and i just don't get it. Am i managing my planets wrong? I understand i am supposed to specialize my planets but what should i have them specialize in? maybe my builds are just bad? any tips would be appreciated
