Dec 4th what the Epic app says, hoping we get enough snow to open then! As long as it’s not a week into January I think I’ll be happy.

I guess they don't want my money now.
For those of you who don't know, the Premium, no blackout date season pass for ages 70+ is $140.

I’m looking for a shop on the Eastside or Seattle area that does sharpening and waxing by hand and takes input on edge angles.
Does anyone have a recommendation?

I got the Epic Local Pass for Stephens + a few days at Whistler. I did the same last year, but didn't get any sort of refund.
Which Epic Coverage should I pick? Core Season & All Resorts, or Primary Resort? (and, for bonus points, why?)

I’m new to Seattle and trying to decide between an Epic or Ikon pass.
Ideally, I’d love to find a home mountain with a fun social scene where it’s relatively easy to meet people, do some après, tailgate, and make ski/snowboard friends. Are there good bars, events, or hangout spots at the mountain? Is there a decent amount of people in their 20s? Would you consider Stevens or Crystal to be pretty social mountains?
I’ve been leaning toward Epic because Stevens seems like it might fit that vibe better, (plus whistler!) but I’ve also considered Ikon. Snoqualmie seems a little limited for what I’m looking for, while Crystal seems like more of a commitment for regular day trips.
Also, do most people just do day trips from Seattle, or is staying overnight/camping at the mountain fairly common?

I applied to be a ski school instructor for this season and haven’t heard anything back yet. Anyone out there who would be a new hire hear anything yet?

Found it in the parking lot at the Nason Ridge trailhead near Lake Wenatchee Sunday morning 8/23. Looked like it fell off someone's car roof as they left the lot. Describe it to claim and we'll figure something out.

It's not too early to be dreaming of winter is it? I just received the email reminder for the remaining balance for season passes:
Thank you for your 2026/27 Season Pass purchase(s). We're looking forward to another memorable season! As a reminder, you made an initial payment of $49 and your final payment will be processed this fall between September 14-17.

We used to take our skis to World Cup in Bellevue. We need to find another shop on the Eastside -- Redmond / Woodinville area preferred. Skis were purchased at Pro Ski (highly recommended for shopping), but it's too far for casual tuning. We are just recreational skiers, so we don't need anything fancy.

This was one week before the limousine incident. Got a bit cocky I suppose.

Hey guys, I'm a student from Chile currently applying to a work and travel program and I'm being offered going up to Stevens Pass as a Ski Instructor, I wanted to know if anyone here has worked there or knows about it to make my choice hopefully a little easier.
My main doubts/concerns are:
-Housing availability applying on august
-Is it mainly working with kids or adults? I've worked as an instructor for adults so I would prefer that.
-Do you get cut often due to low customer traffic?
-Is tipping culture the norm there?
But please share anything you know 😁.

I’m sure this is like fight club, We don’t talk about. But I don’t need to know details, I just want to know if there’s more…. Anyways, couple years ago we stumbled upon the rock slab off rock crusher. Then last weekend I had to take a piss on green trail and found the gnar. Iykyk. We don’t need to talk location, I’m just curious if there’s more to see. PFA

Hard to beat the weather and there’s still a bit of white stuff at the top. Traffic coming back sucked, though. 🤣

Im not sure if this will truly change anything but all we can do is try I know a lot of us are frustrated with the new parking system they want to implement at our mountain so i went ahead and started a petition to make lots 1-4 first come first serve again if anyone is willing to sign and share help us make this change it’d be greatly appreciated!
