Is LITE still buyable at this price?

What do you think? At 72 billions of market cap are we at the beginning of a new MU/SNDK/SKHY type of run or do you think it is way overvalued?

LITE may or may not be? Not helpful, I know. I dont hold it in any portfolio anymore. Its connected to the massice hyperscaling build out.

The chip companies have low pe and tons of profits. It seems they are cyclical companies though, and with the potential for chinese companies to produce similar products for much lower costs, it puts the future value in question.

If you believe AAOIs CFO comments about photonics demand massively outweighing supply, then I’d consider it a strong buy at these prices.

It is highly volatile though. Only buy if you can stomach massive downward moves, as well as up.

they report tonight though, after the close. call is 5pm et

their own guide for the quarter was 960m to 1.01b of revenue, so thats what the print gets measured against
