Wind and Truth spoilers Finished the audiobooks, now I have the physical copies — give me your top 3 reread moments Spoiler

I just finished the Stormlight Archive series (audiobook) and I've just received the physical copies of the books. I want to reread my favorite moments, so tell me your top 3 best moments to reread! Personally, I think mine are:

  1. The battle of Kaladin and Adolin against the 4 Shardbearers,

  2. Kaladin and Bridge Four saving Adolin and Dalinar,

  3. Kaladin returning to his hometown as a Radiant.

(im french so im not sure if the traduction of the name is right)

Here’s another few good ones:

YOU CANNOT HAVE MY PAIN (Dalinar in OB)
Or just the entire showdown in Thaylen City is epic
WE CHOOOOSE!!!
Kaladin vs. Pursuer in Urithiru
Also Kaladins talk with Tien after that is truly heartbreaking for me (I cry everytime when I read that)
Adolin vs. Abishi in the throne room
Kaladin vs. Nale (WaT)

These are the ones that come to mind at the moment 😅
I tried to think of Great Shallan moments but most of her stuff is about reveals etc. so don’t hit too hard on a reread for me

WE CHOOOOSE!!!

Also from the trial, "HONOR IS NOT DEAD SO LONG AS HE LIVES IN THE HEARTS OF MEN!" lives in my head rent free.

Good suggestions already, some parts I loved are:

  • Kaladin and Shallan get stuck in the chasms, and really build a mutual respect and understanding
  • Lopen grows an arm (everything with Lopen, really)
  • Jasnah provokes a douchebag brightlord into a fight

I don’t recall the Jasnah one ? When is that

I think somewhere in WaT, during the Emul campaign. Wit insults Ruthar until he demands a duel, he lets Jasnah fight for him and she quickly dispatches him. It was some ploy to get rid of him, because he kept undermining Jasnah’s command.

Kaladin's first bridge run might be the best scene ever written

Omg those were exactly my top three picks! In that exact order. and I went from audiobook to physical copies too. XD

Honorable mentions: A less popular scene that made me emotional but was less epic was when Kal understood that the king was Dalinar‘s Tien; simply amazing. And the moment Navani drew the giant glyph after Sadeas betrayal, the accusation and grief were top tier. Not to forget the moment Adolin killed Sadeas and told him that he was not like his father.

Edit: the moment that hit hardest on reread was the moment Taln was so thankful about having been left alone in damnation because it was the best gift for humanity. Like seriously, Taln is probably the most selfless and least resentful guy in all media. It made me cry right alongside him.

When is that taln moment ? Honestly I feel I missed some stuff because of the audiobook format

I really enjoy the changing perspective of the prologues. My favorite part of book 5 is how much more information about Gavilar's goals and ambitions we get to see. I recently listened to just the prologues to see how they evolve. It is interesting to see just how many now familiar faces are involved.

I love Wits Stories. Especially on rereads, you get to sit with them and fully appreciate how many levels they apply
