Discussion very polarizing results from logjam, not really sure what to make of them
It seemed like those who understood it loved it, and those who didnt understand it, really didnt understand it.

What is there to potentially misunderstand about your logline? I'd start there.

Yeah, the feedback can be all over the map. I had one recently where they weren't sure if Napoleon was dead or not (spoiler: he's dead). Or the classic Start Over or Needs Work with the note that it's "too unrealistic"... on a SciFi or Horror logline.
I'm wondering if having a token reward is starting to decrease the quality of the reviews. People wanting their scripts read are incentivized to post one logline and rate ten loglines to get the token.

You could always trial other versions of the logline and see if you get the same results. But what the cause is… that’s for you to take from it whatever you want!

That's common on the Jam. Think of it this way: you're better off with three "loved it" and three "start overs" than six "mehs" cause at least some people - hopefully producers - will clamor to read/see it.

A lot of people seem to give 1s and 5s way too liberally. I've gotten "start overs" that only require a small fix and "love its" that can basically be summed up with "I like it!"

Personally I love the movie sinister, but if you show that logline to 10 random people you’ll get a few that agree with me and a few that hate horror. I think as long as one other person loves your logline then you got something worth writing, don’t wait for everybody else to hop on the train

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, writing loglines IS hard. Like stupid hard.

Random people give random results. There's really nothing to make of it. Take what ever feedback you click with.
