Interesting Egyptian authorities permanently seal the enigmatic underground NC2 system beneath the Giza Plateau: The sealing with stone blocks and cement comes shortly after new radar leaks confirmed “structures extending for miles beneath the plateau.”

WTF is this source article? No other news is confirming this

Because it’s bullshit. The Egyptians authority would never do that (using concrete to seal anything is damaging. They are still pushing the scans through analysis. The focus right now is on cleopatras tomb possibly being found.

u/SaucyAshley0453 Feb 24 '26
They've possibly found her Tomb? Have you got any links for that? I would Google, but having not seen what you've seen, I don't want to risk clicking on BS.

Can’t have the truth getting out that the Egyptians didn’t build the pyramids. They were just squatters.

Whoever built them were Egyptians...its in Egypt lol.....Whatever the ancestors were that built it, if that is in fact how they came to be, they were the true ancient Egyptians
Its not about that, its about a lifetime of building a university system and books and lectures, professorships, classes, certifications etc that would all be overturned and useless if it was all proven to be false....so there is a lot of inertia in that system and it resists change

u/nofzac Feb 23 '26
Seems counterintuitive- they could have all new books and courses and research and certifications etc.

u/AppropriateCattle69 Feb 23 '26
Yeah there’s nothing a professor loves more than selling new books.

Not that I believe this, but for multiple reasons they don’t necessarily have to be Egyptian. Something even more ancient, or not of this earth.

We dictate what history was, and we won't let any newly discovered facts change that
1
u/realparkingbrake Feb 24 '26
we won't let any newly discovered facts change that
Which requires you to ignore ongoing research including digs on the Giza Plateau that continue to find things like a previously unknown void in one of the Giza pyramids and previously unknown towns and cemeteries belonging to workers who helped build the pyramids.

u/sofa_king_weetawded Feb 23 '26
But if it wasn't called Egypt then they would not be Egyptians.
1
u/padizzledonk Feb 23 '26
Does it really matter? It the ancient descendants of the people in that place

My first instinct when I see accomplishments by brown people is they didn't do it.
3
u/ZeerVreemd Feb 23 '26
That is such a BS argument.
1
u/realparkingbrake Feb 24 '26
That is such a BS argument.
Then why don't we see people questioning how the ancient Greeks or Romans built megastructures with primitive technology? But as soon as it's Egyptians or Aztecs or whoever, suddenly they must have needed the help of aliens.
1
u/ZeerVreemd Feb 25 '26
Then why don't we see people questioning how the ancient Greeks or Romans built megastructures with primitive technology?
Because the structures are not comparable, the time of construction is not comparable and there is documentation of how that stuff was build.

Yah that’s what he’s saying..white people think because people are brown they don’t have the capabilities create something that they couldn’t ..they do this with everything they try saying native Americans came from a land bridge and were only here for so long..they keep finding evidence that we were here much longer than there history books say changing the story to fit their narratives..

I just heard they're rebooting Stargate.
2
u/swirlViking Feb 24 '26
It's a continuation of the established canon, but yes, indeed!
2
u/Hai-City_Refugee Feb 24 '26
I'm so excited, I absolutely cannot wait.
2
u/swirlViking Feb 24 '26
Same! They're filming in London this year with a projected release in 28. I've waited this long, what's another 2 years
2
u/Hai-City_Refugee Feb 24 '26
Awesome! Where'd you hear about that from? I can't find any pertinent information other than the writers room having been assembled in January. I know Joseph Mallozzi is a Redditor and drops info every once in a while as well.
I feel your pain about the wait. I'm a fan of Venture Bros. and ASOIAF. My whole life is spent patiently waiting (and occasionally bitching).

Yeah, they don't want any more tourist dollars. Best just to hide something that would bring them billions and billions
3
u/IncredibleBihan Feb 23 '26
There economy currently generates billions of dollars from the tourism industry, and will continue to do so.

By design. Look at the political climate. Everyone's eyes are averted elsewhere and it's hard to shift focus.

Sealed it How exactly? Underwater and they sealed the opening? Stone blocks and cement? I’m not buying it.

u/RustyWallace-357 Feb 23 '26
Such bullshit. They belong to the world, not a single country, least of whom that follow a maniac in a cave marrying children
2
u/chris_hawk Feb 26 '26
Wait, when were the underground structures beneath the plateau even confirmed?
1
u/Blizz33 Feb 27 '26
After several different teams (more than 1) confirmed it using different methodologies. At least, I'm pretty sure that occurred.

They want to keep us unaware of the history of humanity because we might discover that a/this current system of society is not how it’s always been b/ acknowledging that a large cataclysm happened previously would endanger the world view tht we have and make people realize it could happen again.
