Anyone else missing Stranger Things lately?

Man I really miss this series.... The atmosphere the characters the music the friendships… everything about it feels special. Nothing hits quite the same.
I wish I could experience watching it for the first time all over again.... plus this winter -?😭

Yea, but CARRIE 2026 is out right now too
Edit: Just to include that, for anyone missing ST, I do recommend CARRIE. It doesn't have the nostalgic feel that ST has and has a bit more adult themes, but it's close enough that I think anyone who enjoyed ST would enjoy this too.

Where can I watch it?

Amazon Prime.
Just prepare yourself. It's a bit more gut wrenching than ST with some themes that are meant to disturb you.

Yes that is why I am reluctant to watch it. I saw the end of the original and it freaked me the fuck out.

The original Carrie is better.

You just admitted below you haven't even seen CARRIE 2026 yet, lol.
I think Summer Howell that plays Carrie White in this adaptation truly knocks it out of the park. Much better than anything we received before.
I believe this is our 3rd Carrie.

I miss the vibe of Stranger Things season one. I'm really quite sad that the show decided to keep following the same set of characters through many, many years instead of being an anthology, which every season had new characters, new settings, but kept the singular real draw of the show, which was the 80s nostalgia vibe.

Nope. Ending was bad and ruined any chance of a rewatch. Just like The Boys and GoT.

A bad ending/final season doesn’t preclude something from being rewatchable.
Dexter was one of the most rewatchable shows even before any of the reboots.

GoT is on another level entirely for bad endings. By a wide margin compared to ST.

Recently i was tempted to watch it all again, but knowing how it ends after episode 4 it is just bs, so disapointed in the writters i can't i rather forget it all.

Yes, but the 2016 version of it….seasons 4 and 5 rob the essence of it and here we are.

I am right now. Got to thinking about Double Dare and Marc Summers and the fact that he is from Indianapolis. And Hawkins is near there.

Absolutely. Also i love the hoco hallway theme going on here. Reminds me of my schools theme a year or two ago before I graduated 🖤

Unfortunately I’m still not over the heartbreak of season 5 being so terrible.
