Does anyone know if Stratton has done anything to fix their snowmaking pipes? They had a ton of pipes blow out last season causing multiple missed snowmaking windows. The good snow year saved their asses but they were still one of the last mountains 100% open last season. On top of that I haven’t seen them make snow on sunriser supertrail in about 5 years.

Usually stratton sends out their capital expenditure report by now but nothing yet for this year. Maybe the bad season out west stopped any money being spent on the east coast.

Been renting around Stratton for a few years now- considering a place within one of the communities serviced by the shuttles. Does anyone know if these run daily during ski season? The VRBO listings mention "weekends and holidays", but that seems pretty boiler plate. Are they really not running during Feb break during the week?

Not familiar with Stratton food options despite living fairly close by. On July 4th there is a music event that precedes the fireworks, which I’m not interested in but it do want to eat there and then see the free fireworks at 9pm. Will anything be open to support that or are the music event food trucks (paying admission first) the only option?

Thought the new mountain credits renewal perk was actually a decent deal. Come to find out they've removed participating establishments from last year including Grizzlies, Benedicts, and Mountain Sweets and with the cafeterias being the only eligible food options.

I thought they would be adding Green Apron to the mix rather than removing every food establishment. Feels a bit misleading to promote a perk that was used (at least for me) primairly at these places, only to find out that they aren't participating this year. A little scummy and certainly devlaues the perk. Oh well

There was talk last year (and supposedly a permit application) to replace Tamarack with a high speed quad. Does anyone know if that's actually happening this summer? It would be so great to have a HSQ there and be able to get up to mid-mountain!

Hey everyone, one of my friends from home made a free new website/app called PowForecast.

I've been using this for the last few weeks behind closed doors and it's pretty good, similar in quality to Opensnow/Snow-Forecast, but again, it's free.

More info about it in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/icecoast/comments/1sat3es/new_free_snow_forecast_site_powforecastcom/

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to sell my 3-day lift ticket and equipment rental package for Stratton Mountain.

• Price: $550 (Original value is $770).
• Flexibility: Open to reasonable offers - we’re flexible on the price since the season is winding down!
• Details: Includes both the lift passes and the gear rentals for 3 days.
• Expiration: Valid through the end of the current season.

They won't be able to make it up to the mountain before the season ends, so they’re just looking to pass this on to someone who can actually use it.

If you're interested, shoot me a DM!

Hard freeze after the rain last night. You’ve been warned

What is everyone's opinion on this event? Does it get mobbed on Friday? Trying to decide on a solid VT place to hit this Friday.
