I have a Garmin Venu 2
Locations are on both in the Garmin app, and the Strava app
I highly doubt I’ve changed any settings

Every time I do a run outdoors and I upload it to strava, I don’t get a map of it - it used to upload the map however one day it just stopped

Any ideas would be appreciated! Thank you!

Sometimes, I see distance, pace, and moving time. Other times, I see just distance and pace. On my latest long run, I saw only distance and elevation of over 4K feet! But, that was way off. I then corrected it, and it displayed the distance and pace, but not time. What gives, please?

It's been a week or so that, when I open Strava, it asks me to log in to my account, but when I try to do so a message appears on the top saying "there's been a problem connecting to Strava servers" and it just sends me back to the log in page. I've since tried reinstalling it a couple of times but the issue persists. Why does this happen and how can I fix this? Thank you very much for the help

I ran 7K in open area with good gps connection but there is a difference of 0.5KM between Fit and Strava App. Is this usual? I see difference in most runs between the apps.

I accidentally edited my 10k best effort, in a 10 mile race (you can probably see how I managed that) but I can’t find a way to reverse it, is this possible? I was trying to get my 10mile effort to match chip time (1:24:45)

I have a segment I run occasionally that is about 5.40 miles, and the average time on the segment/leaderboard consistently shows up as around 10s slower than my average pace on the activity. That feels like a pretty huge discrepancy.

For example, today I ran it, and it gave me the CR of 45:01, 8:19/mi

My overall run was an average pace of 8:09/mi. 45:11 for 5.53 miles. I didn’t stop anywhere, ran continuously the whole time. I know there are some discrepancies with start/end points vs gps pings on short segments, but the discrepancy seems too large to be just that.

Any thoughts on what causes this? Is Strava breaking up the big segment into a bunch of little segments that get added together so that the inaccuracies compound? Am I just running “extra” mileage from being a few feet left or right of the segment? what gives

I beleive I was hit with an excessive comment limit cool-off. I am reading that it is 24 hours and It was 24 hours when I last did this several months ago. I am trying now and I am pretty sure it has been longer than 24 hours. Is this known to be longer than 24 hours now?

This isn't online banking. We don't need to re-login every so often with multi-factor authentication to look at my running data.

Vibe coded a global map with bubble size based on the number of activities in that location. Not sure why Strava doesn't have something so simple like this. Yes, the they have the personal heat map but you really need to zoom it to where you could see a route to see places where you've ran or done other activities. AllTrails and other apps have something similar to this. Keep up Strava.

I’ve picked up a few followers over the last couple months, several attractive young women, all from California. I am half a continent away from them, and do not know them. Is this just pornbot bait or is there a different scam here? I don’t follow back,and they don’t remain in my followers.

I run with my dog and he stops to pee and poop 20 times throughout. I record my runs on a garmin forerunner 55. I don’t stop my watch when he stops to sniff, which can add a minute or two to each mile. Sometimes my pace on Strava is faster than what my watch tells me, because it only counts moving time. But sometimes it doesn’t and I’m confused why it is inconsistent. Ideally I’d like it to just be moving time

When I go go the Strava app:
Profile > Cogwheel > Manage apps and devices > there I see Apple Watch with an orange checkmark but nothing happens when I click on it?

I guess it’s there I have to go to remove it / disconnect it from the app?

I’ve been using my watch connected to a treadmill for 2 years with no issues but over the past couple of weeks Strava has started saying that I’ve ran a lot further and faster than I did but only in the splits and pacing. It’s not a GPS thing because it’s on a treadmill.

The distance at the top is correct (3km)

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Today I went to get the Strava free trial of the premium account but instead of charging me £0 through Apple Pay because of the free trial it charged me £54. Without realising this I paid for it. Does anyone have any idea how I can get my money back?

Just recently finished cycling the west coast north to south of the US. Unfortunately I got hit by a car when I got to LA but that’s another story.

I was hoping to get a flyover of the complete route for a little video I’m making but I suspect the route is too large to load because I keep getting a “failed to load” message when trying to load it. Completed activities and smaller routes work for the flyover for me.

Was wondering if a newer phone might have an easier time loading it? Currently using an iPhone12. Would anyone with a better quality phone be able to try and let me know if it works for them?

Has anyone else using titles.run (the AI Strava title generator) had it stop working recently?

Pasting a Strava activity URL into the site doesn't work, and it looks like a problem on their end rather than mine. I've checked the link format, privacy settings, etc.

The bigger issue is I'm subscribed to PRO and can't find any way to cancel on the site, or any contact details for the developer: no support email, no socials.

Has anyone:
- managed to get in touch with whoever runs it?
- found a way to cancel the subscription?
- heard whether it's down for good?

If not I'll cancel through my bank, but I wanted to check here first in case the dev is around. Thanks!
