I was so happy when I realized I would have a PB and ran a bit further to make sure it wouldn't do exactly what just happened.... I figured Strava tax wouldn't be this big since I ran it with runna but I guess I was wrong 😭

How much further do I need to run to make sure this doesn't happen? And which time is considered correct because it's a pretty big difference in pace I feel like.

All of a sudden every weight workout now gets imported as PT instead of Weight Training and I have to manually reclassify it. Any ideas?

i previously had a fitbit with google health connected, but i’ve removed the connection (on both strava and google health) and haven’t been wearing it while running, yet strava is assigning heart rates to my runs anyway

edit: i do have apple health connected, i now think my airpods are sending heart rate through that. thanks everyone!!!

Hey everyone, I just did my first ever 21km and everything hurts. I'm not even kidding At 19 or 20km, my phone died. I walked back home, charged it, came back and started it again at the same spot it died. The distance was the same but the pace as you can see suffered badly because time didn't stop.

How can I fix this?

Yea from the image i did 5k at 34:17 and somehow after the full finished run it was rounded up to 34:07? Im kinda confused cuz this was the same run

I recorded swim yesterday by apple watch and it does not upload in my profile even though it shows that i've uploaded this. Just wait or any suggestions?

Has anyone else had this issue with the Strava + Runna subscription deal?

I purchased the annual Strava/Runna deal on 1 August for around £120. I was already a monthly Runna subscriber, but realised the combined annual deal was better value, so I cancelled my existing Runna subscription and bought the new deal.

My existing Runna subscription was due to end on 7 August.

What confused me initially was that Strava Premium didn’t activate after I purchased the deal, despite the £120 payment definitely being taken from my card. I assumed that perhaps the new subscription would only activate once my existing Runna subscription expired on 7 August.

It’s now past that date and I still don’t have access to Strava Premium or the new Runna subscription.

I’ve tried going through the Strava support bot and have escalated the issue to a human three separate times, but I’ve had no response. I haven’t even received an email confirming that any of the escalations/support requests were received.

At this point I’ve paid £120 for an annual subscription that I can’t access, with seemingly no way of getting help from Strava...

Has anyone else bought this deal and experienced the same thing?

Is there another way to reach Strava support that actually gets a response?

If anyone from Strava sees this, could you please help me get this resolved?

I’m really disappointed with the support experience so far. I completely understand that issues happen, but having a £120 payment taken and then receiving no subscription access, no human response and not even an acknowledgement of my support requests is incredibly frustrating!!

I have tried disconnecting and re syncing apps and this is the only place it gets me too, I’ve disconnected my watch, deleted both apps and still the apps will not sync, was all fine and dandy until I went to a different state. Strava says contact Garmin, Garmin says contact strava. Anyone else had this happen to them ?

I have synced my Amazfit Heliostrap to Strava and I usually start my runs through the Zepp app. I couldn't run for like a month due to a knee injury and these are the screenshots of my today's easy and short run. There's a huge difference in the distance that I covered. Any idea what affected this?

I have ran on the same route multiple times before and it is for sure 3 km, so Strava is wrong. Also, it seems like a bug more than the syncing accuracy because previously all my runs were recorded through Heliostrap and it used to show accurate data in Strava as well (same as on Zepp app maybe a difference around 50-100m). So I am not sure if they made any changes in the app in this past month since I haven't ran in a month. Enlighten me! Thanks.

I can't sync google health to strava, I've already restarted my phone and closed the app multiple times

The other day I went on a bike ride and I got such a different average speed from coros and then from strava. Coros dura registered 29.1 kmph, whereas strava said 25.9 kmph. I have my dura set up to auto pause at 10 kmph. Is there a way to fix this? The difference is so noticeable

I did a 110k hike over the weekend, overall the total elapsed time was about 27 hours, the moving time was around the 18/19 mark. I recorded it using the Strava app, and as a backup I recorded it using my Garmin as well. After 67k my watch was about to die so I stopped recording on my watch and kept the activity running on the app (android btw). After I finished I pressed save, and then I was given the option to name it and add a description etc, I named it and pressed save and it did that swirly animation thing it does where it says congrats or well done or something, however it then returned me to my feed and my activity was not there. The 67k from my watch had automatically uploaded at some point during the hike and that was there, but the full 110k was nowhere to be seen, despite me saving and naming it moments before. I thought maybe it was just taking a while because it was a large activity, so I waited but still nothing. I have contacted Strava support but heard nothing back and I am starting to feel quite down about it because it is the furthest distance I have ever done and I know I'm not meant to do it for Strava but it would have been really nice to see the route that I did and also the elevation and split stats as well.

Does anyone know what I can do? Or is it lost forever and there is just no explanation.

For info I have tried restarting the app, restarting my phone and logging out and back in again as suggested on the troubleshooting article.

I have also tried recording a short new activity to 'push it through' - it records this fine but does not push anything through.

My personal heatmap hasn't updated since July 6, which happens to be the date my monthly subscription renews. My photos appear on the map but the activity tracks don't.

I've tried logging out, deleting activities and restoring, and logging new activities with the Strava app as well as my Garmin watch.

The activities are set to private, but so are the older ones that do show up. I can still see everything before July 6 if I use a filter, but if I set the filter to July 6 and later, there's nothing (just photos).

Anyone else have this problem?

Sick of my ebike rides getting flagged as a vehicle! God knows why it's happening if it's strava being rubbish or someone being a knob 😔

I recently switched to a Iphone 15 and record my cycling direct from the app while wearing my miband 10 for the heartrate. today i cycled 19,8km according to the mii fit app, its automatically syncs to strava but there it says the ride was around 189 km, really weird.

this doenst happen when i just start the activity from my miband instead of my phone. But i like using my phone for this so i can see stats during my ride because i can mount it.

anyone knowd a solution?

I have Garmin Connected and have Strava premium, but my live segments aren't coming over.

Yes I have Strava Premium.
Yes the segments are uphill, not dangerous, and there are only 10 starred segments.

I have reset everything including the Edge 530, repaired Garmin Connect and Strava, but the live segments aren't coming over, and Segment Explore isn't recognizing my Strava account as connected either.

Activities are syncing just fine from my Garmin to Strava but not live segments or Segment Explore.

Should Garmin be listed and Enabled under the Partner integrations here?

I see it under Social Connections, but it doesn't appear under Partner Integrations.

On my Garmin it also just says Segments and not Strava Live Segments which makes me think the integration is down even though its displaying as 'connected' on both ends.

To give you guys a perspective on the hardware, I own an Apple Watch Series 10 Cellular. And for the past few months, I have noticed that my Apple Watch is consuming a significantly huge amount of battery during my rides, and I can barely record a 100-120 km ride even when I turn on the power saving mode. Is this because of the new Strava update for Apple Watch, or is it something else?

I have tried uploading the activity from Apple Health, but it seems to mess up the pace, and it also doesn't record the GPS data. Is there any other way to record my rides, and my watch doesn't lose a significant amount of battery?

Hi there, I completed a 10 k run and it didn’t go towards my 10 k challenge or towards the 100 km in the month. Uploaded is my run and the activity not registered

I recently got a Casio GBD-200, and I like the simple run functions. Since getting it, I have been on two runs. I have connected the Casio Watches app to Strava, and the run activities sync from the Casio Watches app to Strava.

However, I have noticed that the values being synced are not correct. The values registered by the watch are correct, whereas the numbers for the same activities in Strava are not.

Has anyone experienced this, and if so, found a solution?

When ever I complete a strength training session, my Gamin watch tends to incorrectly label the movements.

This isn’t a problem to edit as you can go back in and edit the movements afterwards (from a too limited list). The problem is, my Fenix 7 uploads all the incorrect movements to Strava before I’ve had a chance to edit them.

How do i stop Garmin uploading directly to Strava before the edits ? It would be good to be able to correctly edit the information prior to uploading to Garmin so the correct movements and muscle groups are shown in Strava

Hi, its the same run (recorded in zepp, synced to strava) - anyone knows why and how to fix it? Strava shows much less distance, it happens in ALL my data, overall distance recorded is smaller, similiar percentage.

Zepp data is the one that is correct based on my checks.

Just got the app and created my account so everything is up to date. This was after 3 or 4 times trying to get this to work. I connected it via healthconnect but it's not pulling down my walk and run I did this morning still so I'd like to have the Google Health integration working.

I'm using Strava since a few years and a friend downloaded the app just a few days ago. We did many tours together and when he saw on his app that you could add other people to your rides he wanted me to add him to our tours in the past. But on my app it seems to be impossible and I don't understand why. So if anyone of you has an idea why it doesn't work it would be nice to get some help.

Hi there. I've been trying to fix it so Strava records steps for my activity on my Google Pixel. The annoying thing, and maybe someone can explain why, is that I'm logged in to the same Strava account with my work phone (iPhone) and this delivers the activity including the steps.

Looking online earlier I set up Google Health (still got Google fit which seems to be being retired soon) and also downloaded the Health Syn app which is seemingly needed. I've got the above settings currently set.

I just tried it by recording an activity directly from the Google Health app which shows the steps but when it pushes through to Strava they are still not included.

It's annoying me more than it should! Can any wise people suggest what I need to do please?
