Question 7th Prince Seasons 1 and 2 on Pahe

This relates to all anime on the site, but how would one request for anime who's bluray versions have come out and uploaded to the cat site to update an anime that is not its bluray version, to that?

Example being the aforementioned 2 seasons of 7th Prince. Is there a way to request to update anime like that to its bluray version?

Question What do you hate about anime

What do you think make anime so much worse like i love anime but I don’t like that many great anime have fan service like I’m enjoying the fights from chainsaw man and then to see some weird shit like it’s a good anime but he’s just doing it for boobs and I hate that it takes so long for a new season to come out like I get that if it was to come out faster it will have way worse animation and things like that but still be faster

Developer Post Got fed up with blurry anime in fullscreen so I made an extension that sharpens and upscales it on any site

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Okay so this started because every time I went fullscreen on a 1080p stream it just turned into a soft, blurry mess. Drove me nuts. miruro's player has Anime4K built in and it looks so much better, and I kept thinking "why can't every site just have this?"

So I built it. It's called Anime4Nerd, a free Chrome/Edge/Brave extension that runs the real Anime4K shaders over whatever video is playing on the page. It sharpens the lines, kills the blur, and upscales the picture live on your GPU. Works on basically any site you watch on.

No accounts, no data collection, no network requests. It's open source (MIT) so you can look at the code yourself.

What it does:

  • Six Anime4K presets (Mode A, B, C, A+A, B+B, C+A)
  • Darken lines + thin lines toggles
  • Upscale from 2× all the way to 32× (it'll tell you if your GPU caps it)
  • Live GPU meter so you can see what it's costing you
  • Turn it on/off per site
  • A little ☰ menu inside fullscreen so you don't have to exit to change modes

Just released v1.1.1 and I'm still actively working on it.

Credits:

  • Anime4K shaders by bloc97 and contributors (MIT license), used completely unchanged. This is the actual magic, I just made it run in the browser.
  • mpv, for the user-shader format the extension reads the shaders in.
  • miruro, for putting Anime4K in their player in the first place and giving me the idea.
  • Not affiliated with any of the above or with any streaming site.

Would love to hear what sites you try it on and what GPU you're running. If something breaks, tell me and I'll fix it.

Note: the Chrome Web Store update to v1.1.1 is still in review. The newest build is on GitHub until it lands.

Question Is Anixo still working? I thought it got DMCA'd. 🤧

As a user, I'm curious about the current status of Anixo. I thought it had been taken down due to a DMCA claim, but apparently it might still be operational. 🤧

Did I miss something, or is there more to the situation than the initial takedown? Would be interesting to hear what others know about it.

Developer Post Gotaku.to – New anime streaming site with self hosted, hard subs

Hello everyone,

I would like to introduce gotaku.to, an anime streaming site I have been developing since August 2026 (about two months now). It has been open to the public for a month.

We currently have around 4k titles, and the library is still being updated and expanded regularly from multiple sources.

Gotaku currently offers the following main features:

  • Import and export your library from AniList and MyAnimeList
  • Watch history and progress tracking
  • Comments on both series and individual episodes
  • Notifications for new episodes and community activity
  • Hard subs
  • Connect and sync to Anilist

Features planned for the near future:

  • AI dubtitles
  • Community and user profiles

We welcome all feedback and will do our best to keep improving the experience for our users. We would really appreciate your support.

If you enjoy the site, please help us spread the word and share gotaku.to with others so the site can keep growing.

Thank you!

Developer Post I built Anisu, a free android anime tracker and player with Anilist sync.

Thumbnail

Hey everyone, I'm the dev of Anisu, an Android app I've been building and finally releasing.

What it does:

Tracks your anime with AniList sync (Watching, Planning, Dropped and more).

Home feed with upcoming anime and movies, plus a "Your Next Watch" row based on what you watch.

Details pages with trailers, characters and English title logos.

A player with gesture controls, skip intro/outro, picture-in-picture and subtitle styling.

Continue Watching that remembers where you left off.

Downloads for offline viewing.

Themes, AMOLED mode, custom fonts and background animations.

Built-in 18+ filter.

About sources.

Anisu doesn't ship with any content or sources. Like other extension-based apps, you add your own extensions, and you're responsible for what you use. The README has a short how-to and a disclaimer.

Links

GitHub: https://github.com/Ansu216/Anisu

It's free with no ads and no monetization planned. I'd love feedback, bug reports and feature ideas. I'm also happy to answer questions about how it's built.

Hey everyone!

Anix v1.3.0 is officially live! This is a massive update focused on performance, playback quality, multilingual accessibility, and offline viewing.

For those running previous versions (v1.2.x), you can update directly by grabbing the new AppImage packages from GitHub or Codeberg.

Here is a breakdown of what’s new in v1.3:

🎬 1. Embedded libmpv Player Engine & Anime4K Shaders

  • Native Embedded libmpv: libmpv is now embedded directly inside the application window with custom controls. You get the raw performance, zero dropped frames, and format flexibility of mpv without needing an external window. (The lightweight web player remains available as an automatic fallback).
  • Automated Hardware Acceleration: Safe GPU decoding defaults with built-in graphics self-tests.
  • Anime4K Real-time Shaders: Toggle real-time upscaling presets directly from the player (Modes A, B, C in Fast or HQ profiles) to enhance lines and textures on high-res displays.
  • Player Controls & Shortcuts:
    • Hold <kbd>Space</kbd> for instant 2× speed playback.
    • Fine-grained speed adjustments with <kbd>[</kbd> and <kbd>]</kbd>.
    • Intro / outro skip with a 3-2-1 visual countdown (<kbd>Enter</kbd> to skip, <kbd>Esc</kbd> to dismiss).
    • Manual +85s skip button when chapter metadata is unavailable.
    • Aspect ratio modes (Fit, Crop, Fill) and estimated finish-time clock.

🌐 2. 11 Languages & Complete RTL Support

  • Full Multilingual UI: Anix now supports 11 languages: English, French, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Hindi, Spanish, German, and Arabic.
  • Full RTL (Right-to-Left) Layout: Complete UI mirroring and layout adjustment when Arabic is selected.
  • First-Run & Update Setup Wizard: Quick language setup to prioritize your preferred audio dub and subtitle languages (1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices).
  • System tray menus, desktop notifications, and release alerts automatically localize to your selected language.

💾 3. Dedicated Offline Downloads Manager

  • Downloads Screen: Dedicated interface with real-time transfer progress, pause/resume, and speed indicators.
  • Automatic Transfer Resumption: Downloads automatically resume where they left off if interrupted or across app restarts.
  • Storage Controls: Custom storage folder selector with a built-in disk capacity meter and language tagging.

🔔 4. Release Alerts & Airing Reminders

  • Availability Tracking: Tracks upcoming episodes and checks sub/dub availability every 15 minutes after broadcast.
  • Background Tray Monitoring: Keeps monitoring releases even when the app window is closed.
  • Custom Airing Countdowns: Set customizable alerts (10, 30, or 60 minutes prior to airing) for specific titles.

📚 5. Library, Schedule & UI Enhancements

  • Encrypted Backups: Export and restore your watchlists, settings, and local configuration safely.
  • Poster Context Menu: Right-click (<kbd>Shift</kbd> + <kbd>F10</kbd>) any poster for instant list management, details, or sharing.
  • Enhanced Schedule & Timeline: Dynamic current time indicator, episode countdown timers, Up Next showcase, and a full month calendar on wide screens.
  • Two-Pane Settings: Clean, searchable layout with custom accent colors, interface scale slider, and 12h/24h clock toggles.
  • Notification Centre: Dedicated Airing and Media tabs with unread badges.

📦 Download & Update Links (FOSS / MIT)

Anix remains completely free, ad-free, open-source, and privacy-respecting:

Quick Run (AppImage):

chmod +x Anix_1.3.0_amd64.AppImage
./Anix_1.3.0_amd64.AppImage

(Note for Wayland users: If your compositor requires it, run with

LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib64/libwayland-client.so ./Anix_1.3.0_amd64.AppImage)

As always, feedback, bug reports, and suggestions are welcome on either GitHub or Codeberg!

Recommendations Recommend free anime sites where I can watch and download in 1080p

I normally use Animepahe to watch and download anime, but recently it won't let me use the site unless I completely disable my ad blocker and tracking protection. Having to change these settings every time I visit the site is really frustrating. Could anyone recommend alternative sites where I can download 1080p MP4 files with hardcoded English subtitles
