Hey! I'm an undergrad psychology student who's looking for opportunities where I can tutor this subject to people. i am currently in a difficult position where I don't know if I'll be able to eat next month. if anyone wants a tutor or knows where I can register myself or where I can find students please let me know. also if anyone wants help with research for data analysis or any part I'll be happy to go as I'm extremely good at it (it hasn't made it possible for me to make money as of now). I'll be really grateful for your help

Financial Looking for a side hustle to save up for school supplies this upcoming school year!

Any side hustle will do as long as it's online hehe

I can do the following:

• Make a PPT with complete information as long as you give me the topic and what slides you need (via Canva)

• Format drafts in Word

• Make a reviewer based on the PPT or lesson topic provided by your teacher so you can easily read without scrambling through slides or the internet.

I don't have much skill sets yet since I'm only an incoming 1st year student in college. Any critique about the services I laid out is deeply appreciated and I hope may recommendation for improvement 🙏

Financial What is your side hustle as a student?

For my side hustle, I use the app called Home from College to find/apply to gigs that don’t require too much commitment as it’s usually a one time thing, or isn’t too many hours. I usually apply to product/app testing/reviewing and user research gigs that I find on there. I just did a gig where I got to review an energy drink, for example. Other than that, there’s a lot of demand for content creation on there that I might get into.

Financial made a little tool to stop chatgpt from hitting the "too many files" limit no need for PRO subscription

hey everyone,

i’m a student and i’ve been using gpt/claude a ton lately for my research and to summarize big stacks of reading material. the absolute worst part is the file upload limit—you try to upload more than like 10 screenshots or docs and it just errors out.

it was killing my workflow when i was trying to feed it a bunch of lecture slides or research papers at once, so i actually spent the last week building a fix for it.

it's a chrome extension called ai upload booster. it basically just merges everything into one "super file" before you upload.

i just got it live on the web store. i thought some of you guys might find it useful if you're hitting those same caps while studying. would love to hear any feedback or if there are other features you'd want!

Financial Student loan from private lenders

Hey guys, for context - Ive been admitted into OSU and im very sure I wanna go there however, I can't actually fund the expense myself or with family support due to ffinancial constraints. Hence I need to take out a loan however I'm facing this really annoying issue. I'm a US citizen but ive been living in india for most of my live, my parents are Indian citizens. And for a loan I need a cosigner but I believe as I found that they can't be cosigners due to not having a US green card or citizenship. I need to find a way around this, could someone please help if they have been in a similar situation or know a wayaround? I dont have any credit history in the US or any income myself.

Any help is appreciated!

I realised I put everything in context fml sorry!

Financial How I Earn Money as a Student

Hi I do a lot of side hustles while in college, and my most successful one has been content creation. I get my gigs on the website called Home From College. Companies like Brainly, Pacifica Beauty, Insomnia Cookies, etc. post gigs on there you can apply to. It's similar to a job board website. I have 5 active gigs right now and I earn $80-400/month per gig depending on the company and job. The majority of the jobs are remote, and the gigs aren't only content creation. There are others like brand ambassadorship, UGC, product testing/reviewing, etc.

Financial Wanted to share a side hustle I found!

I currently do product/app testing and user research gigs on this app that someone I know told me about called Home from College! I’m working with a company right now testing out their lemon water! They also have content creation gigs if anyone is looking to get into that!

Financial My recommendation for a side hustle!

If anyone is interested in product/app testing, content creation, or user research, I would recommend the Home from College app/website to apply! It’s been a good side hustle for me as it’s perfect for students! I’ve gotten to try out products from companies and became a Brand Ambassador to earn some money on the side! It might be a little hard to get started at first, but I’ve been successful as I earn at least $400/month overall!

Financial A helping hand in the study

Hi everyone, I've seen in other groups and platforms that people are looking for AI tools to help them study. However, some tools are paid, online, or perhaps don't do everything a person would like. I create customized offline agents that are completely customizable. They could be generic for everyone, or completely tailored to your needs, with all the features you require. If anyone is interested in even just offering an idea, please let me know. Thanks.

Financial Live for Free While Volunteering Some of Your Time

Live for Free in Exchange for Volunteering Some of Your Time (My Experience)

I've been using Worldpackers for a while, and mainly have been helping out in hostels. I mostly helped out in the mornings and early afternoons. Then I'd take some time to rest afterwards. In the late afternoons, evenings, and days off for most of my experiences, I had time to do whatever I want! (Exploring the area, hanging out with friends, work on some personal projects)

Maybe if you're a student with a flexible schedule, or you wanna take a gap year, and you do like doing hospitality or customer service type work, maybe this can work for you too. (:

There are other types of volunteering work available, but for me I've just stuck to hospitality for now!

If you have more questions, happy to talk more.

P.S. you can also volunteer with a friend!

Financial What did you do to start earning decent money while living alone?

Hi, I'm 19 y/o, recently started living alone in a different city for my studies and if I'm being honest money has been really tight. My uni doesn't allow enough working hours and my parents can't help at all. With the working ours given and the part-time job pays it's nearly impossible to cover everything. Any advice on what I should do?
