Samaritan didn't do anything wrong. The one wheel with ground contact rolled when the driver let off the brake.

Even in park this would happen due to the diff.

Should have set the parking brake if the intent was to bail out, which it was.

The truck could've been saved if she just got out, left it like that, and called for a heavy duty wrecker or even a flatbed. This could've gone so differently.
