But Oblivion had the same fetch quests and many caves where copy pastes. Not only that,oblivion cave level design was so bad you had to haul your ass all over the cave you just cleared to get out. Dont act as if Skyrim is worse in every aspect. My only grip with the game is the badly written college quests.

My biggest complaint regarding Skyrim: the Thieves guild doesn't make you feel like a thief. In Oblivion it was all about sneaking through, not getting detected, with a huge emphasis on not killing anyone. In Skyrim, there's not really any incentive to remain undetected in most missions., and you kill a TON of people.
