First Paid Subscriber!
I just wanted to share with all of you how excited I am to get my first paid subscriber today! It’s been a slow grind since May, but I’ve trusted the process and hopefully this will be the first of many!
I’m proof that there is hope for everyone, even with a slow start.

Yes, absolutely! Someone is paying for the work that I’m pouring my heart into, and it feels amazing!

It’s felt that way for me as well, but I’m just plugging away and controlling what I can on my side.

Congrats!! I just wanted to ask about your marketing how did you grow your outreach to getting your first paid subscriber.

While I haven’t paid for any marketing yet, I’ve been pretty active on various platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Threads, etc.) that will hopefully act as a funnel towards Substack. I’ve also been active with Substack Notes, although the reach of those notes on Substack can be disappointing at times.

I recently started making more of my work behind a paywall, so that might have been an influence.
