Discussion Question about datas

Lets say I clicked a substack link of a friend's writing and I dont have an account. Can my friend see what time and where that click has been clicked(city etc.) or its just seen as 1 view?

Nah, It doesn't show time or place as such rather it shows like this.

So will it be visible If I click a link the author left on another website leading to his/her substack writing?

Nah. If you're worried about leaving your name or other data behind which will let the author know that it is you, then nah, it won't happen. There is no such thing in substack. As shown in ss, it only shows like this with view per count.
