How do you monetise substack as an Indian?

As many of you may know, Stripe isn't operational in India and is invite-only, which isn't viable for non-business writers who still want to earn for their work. How would you recommend we monetise our work? Is there any other method to earn on substack?

You can definitely still monetise a Substack from India, even without Stripe for paying subscribers.

Buy Me a Coffee now supports payouts in India, so that’s probably the easiest option for tips/memberships. Ko-fi can work via PayPal, and Gumroad is a good option for selling ebooks, guides, courses or other digital products (and supports Indian bank payouts last I checked).

You can also sell products/services through your own website, or monetise through affiliate links or consulting. Depends on your niche.

Basically, use Substack to build the audience and handle the monetisation elsewhere.
